When shopping for a car for drag racing or any kind of racing does the mileage on the vehicle matter? What other things to look for when shopping for a race car?
Is a 1997 or 98 cobra with 182k miles good?
Thanks
When choosing.....you may want to see if what your getting has things on it that you are all ready gonna need or get done.
Example.......I bought my car as a roller. It had a 10pt certified cage, coilovers all 4 corners, big and skinny's. 9" rear end. Big plus for what I wanted to do.
I bought for 3k........the stuff it had done is over 3k!
It is usually cheaper to buy a used race car already built than to build it yourself. Get on www.racing junk.com type in, mustangs, there are hundreds of mustang race cars for sale. Some people would rather build their own race car. I fall into that group.
