Hi guys,

When shopping for a car for drag racing or any kind of racing does the mileage on the vehicle matter? What other things to look for when shopping for a race car?

Is a 1997 or 98 cobra with 182k miles good?
Thanks

When choosing.....you may want to see if what your getting has things on it that you are all ready gonna need or get done.

Example.......I bought my car as a roller. It had a 10pt certified cage, coilovers all 4 corners, big and skinny's. 9" rear end. Big plus for what I wanted to do.

I bought for 3k........the stuff it had done is over 3k!

Mines came with no motor no trans and not a stitch of wiring!

My motor came from a 69' lincoln! If you are rebuilding.....if the block is in good shape, don't matter.

Mileage does not matter if your using for some kind of racing. My odometer is still not used and I've had the car 10 years!

Also....that no stitch of wiring was good by me because I wasn't worried about things for street legality.
