Went to test and tune today and was able to skim into the 10s. Just the Procharger kit @8psi, x pipe, 3C converter and lower rear control arms on nitto 285 555r DRs. The track prep was very bad. Everyone was spinning even a lot of the big tire cars. Last time I went I pulled a 1.58 60' but this time I was only able to manage a 1.75 60' spinning and pedaling it. For some reason the board didn't show my time but I attached a time slip.
Will you be so kind and can you answer few questions?
- how many HP / Torque do you have (do you have dyno chart?)
- whats your launch RPM?
- whats your shiftpoint RPM?
- whats gear ratio are you running? 4.1?
- what tires and tire preasure are you running?
Lynwood, do you have a roll bar in your car and c-clip eliminators? Just wondering, cause it seems like these days with people running tens so often that a lot of cars don't have these two things that are required by NHRA if you're running that fast. Do tracks just allow it since the car is a newer car and far safer than older model cars? I'm just asking because I go back and forth on putting a roll bar in my car in preparation for the SC. I can run 7.25 in the 1/8 at my track before a roll bar is required along with sfi damper, flexplate, axle retention and safety harnesses.
