Question ? about slicks
I am trying to find out if you can safely launch a mustang on slicks without subframe connectors and torque boxes welded.

1990LX Hatchback, Trick Flow twisted wedge heads, eletric fan, underdrive pullies, BBK equal length headers, BBK cold air induction, 125 wet shot, Cobra intake, Southside lift bars, Southside upper control arms, 3.73 gears, custom Crane cam, weld racing rims, skinnies up front, 75mm MAF, 70mm throttle body, #24 injectors, AOD w/shift kit, 2500 stall, B&M Tranny cooler, Ford Racing Plug wires, 255LPH Walbro, B&M Hammer shifter.

yup you can to a certain extent...Buddy of mine is running mid 11's w/ con subframe conectors..theres no noticeable flex in te roof yet

Why?? Subframe connectors are $75. Add in $40 for welding and that's pretty darn cheap. Why torture the car? Eventually your doors won't line up right and you can get crack in the c pillars. Also, your car will launch much better the stiffer the frame is.
