Default mustang 2002 speed

Hi there, I have ford mustang gt 2002 v8 coupe
If you may help me with my car
When I drive my car the speed not complete it seem like the engine is blocked because its only goes up to 235 km and then the engine will be off which suppose to be 240 km

I would like to know how to unblock the engine to speed up to 240 km

Thank you

grab yourself a tuner and take off the speed restrictor. Something like a Diablo predator or SCT tuner will fill your needs.

Thanks for your reply
But if you may explain for me more I will appreciate it

You mean I have to change parts in the car and how to remove the speed restrictor .

Thanks again

The tuner he is referring to is a hand held device that plugs into your car under the dash that will change things in the computer such as speed limiter, rev limiter, shift points and pressure if you have an auto trans and many other things. So no, you don't have to change out any parts. A good tuner will run you around $379 but it is a good investment if you plan on upgrading anything on your car. It will allow you to change the parameters of the computer to match any performance parts you add in the future.
