Does anyone have any cool drag racing stories? Street or strip. Also, let me know if you know anywhere in the L.A area to go for legal drag racing events.

there are street legal drags at California Speedway, and Irwindale. There are also tracks in Palmdale and Carlsbad, if you want to travel a little. All are quarter mile expect Irwindale. Pomona just have NHRA national events now.

I had a battery going dead. Some guy came running back to where I was in the staging lanes with a Honda generator with a charging system on it, hooked it up to my battery, pointed to his truck in the pits and ran back to his car! In-freaking-credible!!!!!
