I was at LACR in Palmdale this weekend and I ran a 14.7@99mph. This is slower than my best time at Pomona at 14.3@103. I understand that these two times cant really be compared unless you correct both times to establish a common ground. Palmdale is supposed to be a slower track due to elevation...right?

Also which numbers are significant on your timeslip?

Higher trap speed = more HP
lower 60ft = better traction
Is this true and what do the other numbers indicate?
Can you predict optimum times by looking at trap speed?

Higher trap speed does'nt mean more hp that depend on what is your gear ratio, your tire was spinning on the star, hot or cold weather, wind on the back or on the face, if your shifting was perfect or not and more.

hi guys i have an 2001 svt cobra olny thing done to it in mods is two 40 flowmaster and 5.0 pro shift i ran 14:3 in the 1/4 miles. i had a lot of trouble hookin up. it wheel hop every race. it say on line the cobra has 320 hp and it run 13/4 in 1/4 miles you think me cobra can get that time. was it me or the track lots of cars had trouble hookin up too
