It can range from decent to really bad depending on how often you're out there roasting them at events and how close you get to objects that aren't moving. It can be pretty taxing on a car all in all but that really depends on how you're driving.
I mean, as a beginner, if you go in to a turn, spin and just stand on the throttle as it's going around, a lot more wear and tear is going to occur than if you just lift, wait for the spin to stop, then go back to drifting. You'll also go through a lot more tires this way. Most beginners go through a lot of tires because of standing on the throttle while spinning. I've heard this referred to as "Trying to save it". From my experiences, if it's going around and it's already "in the spin", there's no saving it.
I mean, it's a game of variables out here, to be honest. Just hit up an event, see how your driving style is. I'm a little more aggressive with the wheel, some drivers tend to be a little more gentle. That said, I'm starting to lean more towards gently coercing the car around the track, as opposed to manhandling it through the course, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
