DSS 1 pc.

Getting ready to install my DSS 1pc aluminum in the '12. A few inquiries...............

Is it worth renting a bay and hoist for $25/hr. to make the job easier? Or struggling on my back under jack-stands for hours!?

What have most people done? Is exhaust removal ABSOLUTELY necessary?

Will also install the BlowFish Racing bracket while I'm in there too.

I did the swap on my back on a gravel driveway and it sucked. Having a concrete floor would be nicer, and having a bay & hoist would be even better. You should be able to finish that and install the shifter bracket in an hour or so and that's with you taking your time.

Exhaust doesn't have to be completely removed. Just unbolt the midpipe clamp and slide the pipes out of the way.
