Anyone from northeast ohio know any good dyno shops around mentor, ohio? I'm planning on having them mess with the settings unless anyone knows of any good settings for a diablosport tuner with a K & N CAI.

I would think you could get a canned tune without any touble at all. I am sure someone who will chime in. I would tell you where to go to but I don't have a CIA (part of my KB kit) and don't know who is putting good ones together. It seems that people on this forum do have some that they like a lot though.

For serious dyno work you could come to Michigan and have Paul from Pauls High Performance get you set up. It would be a couple of hours to drive but Paul knows his $hit and when it comes to Mustangs.

Sorry, missed the diablo part of your original post. Honestly, it would be worth changing to SCT. My best dyno tune was at Powerhouse.

Contact Trevor at Hutter Performance Center-One of the leading Speed & Performance Centers in Chardon. Great place, they've tuned our vette. They have load-bearing Mustang dyno and I just picked the Mustang up two days ago after a gear install. Sometimes takes a bit of time to get in there during the summer racing season but it's worth it.

edit: Oops, I missed the Diablo part as well. Hutter is an SCT/Hp Tuners shop but maybe call 'em anyway to see what they say.

I also live in ohio and Akron Horse power is really good. they deal with almost nothing but mustangs. They do 3 dyno for $85.
I am going down there this week, they will try to work with the diablo. I have one too and they got to check to see if it has enough options, if not i will just buy one of theirs and sell mine on ebay.

Yep, forgot about Akron Horsepower. There is also Bigshot Dyno in Hudson, well though of as a Mustang shop (BigShotDyno and Performance - Dyno Tuning and Parts)

For a shop to tune with with SCT or diablosport, they have to have the tuning software. If they don't use it, they can't tune it.

they 'dyno-tuned' an 89 GT i built for my EX-GF after she sold it and it ran .6 slower after they 'dyno-tuned' it ........BTW i seen a guy at Dragway 42 with a 5.0 rated at 391 RWHP run 12.99@106.....i cant do that math
