honestly i never been to welston for anything other than football. do u have a track up there? we have one is south webster, K & D, but its only an 1/8. id love to race someone, heck the only racin i got done b/4 my aode went was a 91 silverado, out ran him by 2 seconds at the drag strip. gettin ready for a t5 hopefully by christmas time, its sad seen the stang just sittin in the drive way, but when it gets fixed id be happy to race.

On your car I would get a Tremec TR-3550 if you are going to do a swap, get something worth the time and money. The T-5's are ok for stock applications, but personally and a few friends have gone through many. I am on my 2nd and it is almost gone. I know where K&D is. I usually hit it about 3 or 4 times a summer. Have only run 2 times down there though. Ran horrible, clutch wasn't right, and MAF was caked with dirt, still ran a 10.05 at 71mph. No traction also. Are they still opened or did they close for the winter? I saw some cars heading down there last weekend.

last week was there last for the season, or so i was told. i dont really like the track its always slippery. usually after 100 feet. i have gotten good 60' times, but seems after that it just loose's it. they resurfaced it between this past and the season b4, it help a touch, but not much.

J_Cornell: do you know anyone around are area that does dyno tuning? my aode just went out and when i get the 5spd back in i was gonna see about getting it dyno'd and maybe a chip for now untill i get some money to build up a 351.

I don't know of any tuners in northern ohio, there are some in central (Columbus) area. go register on www.columbusracing.com
