 Illinois Nw Suburbs Car Show For Charity!
Attention AFM members around the NW suburbs of Chicago:
Gear Up to Help, Mustangs and Fords Car Show
On Saturday 9/30/06 The Windy City SVTOA and Packey Webb Ford in Wheaton Illinois will sponsor a car show to benefit the People's Resource Center serving DuPage County Residents. PRC provides services, including food, clothing, rent assistance, and holiday gifts, as well as helping to gain a better foothold in the economic mainstream.
The show will feature door prizes, food and beverages. Donations are asked in the form of canned food goods, new unopened ungiftwrapped toys or cash. The Windy City SVTOA Club will match cash contributions up to $250.
Please join us from 10 AM until 3 PM for a day of cars, food and assisting those in need.

JBC Motorsports will be there, and I believe we'll have a Meguiar's trailer there as well. I'd like to see a bunch of SVT Cobras, Lightnings, Focuses, and Contours there as well.
I'm telling all the guys who work here to bring in $10 a piece to help raise a lot of money for the People's Resource Center, but you can also bring in canned goods, and unopened toys as well.
I'm going to work on getting some trophies and other prizes shortly.
UPDATE: I think the Windy City SVTOA will be matching up to $300 or $350 in donations now. |
