Any one from the flint area? I'm living in Tennessee now but I'll be back in Michigan in the next few weeks and will be in Lapeer, and was wondering whats goin on up there. I'm kinda glad to be commin back I miss all thoes Friday and Saturday night races in flint on 475....

95Stanger, the downriver area is pretty much the whole area south of Detroit. Taylor, Woodhaven, Flat Rock, Trenton, Wyandotte, just to name a few cities. Every night of the week there is a classic car show being held somewhere in the area. My personal favorite is Friday nights in Lincoln Park. Being the beginning of the weekend, it attracts the most cars and the DJ plays great oldies to set the mood.
Dude I love it. I'll have to check it out when I get to flint. My step grandma lives accrost from the Thunder Bowl. I'll let you know when I get there..

Do any of you head out to Telegraph or the surrounding areas anymore to park and bench race or maybe even see a race? When I used to go out there 15 years ago we would use two tank of Turbo Blue racing all night. We had to have been lining them up from a roll going over the bridge on Telegraph that goes over 96.
So is there a new spot or are people just not doing that anymore?

New member . My 06 Colorado Red GT and I are in Okemos . Couldn't get a Ford Racing green , so my STATE plate will have to do . If you see MI plate STATEGT , that's me.
I'm all for a cruise. Tired of going Up North and seeing all the vette cruises. Last weekend , I must have seen 25 of them near Kalkaska. What's the closest Club to Lansing ?
