I saw several T5's while I was in Germany. Actually drove one. Even drove a Pantera. And guess what? I've never even sat in a Corvette. Their out there. I had a 77 Cobra II while I was there. Just imagine how lucky they are to be able to Test and Tune on the Autobahn.

Hi Dale, i thought i would pop a thread on as there are not many so far.

I have a 2006 GT convertible tungsten grey which i am currently driving/living in O.C Southern Cal, i will be shipping it back to Blighty in the next couple of months.

So if any of you out there have experiences with shipping from the LA area to the UK, please drop a line.

Also with the SVA to get the car legal in the UK, what has to be done etc?

I have had it 6 weeks and i can't stop smiling!

my last car was a FIREBIRD and now I drive 05 Mustang.

I only like US-cars, europe/german cars all look alike/similiar and are very expensive

Re new cars I know the feeling I bought a new Impreza STI last year and every day Driving to work is a real pleasure.

Looking forward to getting my II back on the road as it was really fun to drive, back end was little light and would step out nicely when pushed, first time i did it I nearly *hat myself

Just hoping its not too far gone to get moving again.

As for shipping over here, I'm originally from the east of england and an awful lot of the american motors were brought over by the US airforce to the point where there is/was a scrapyard that specialised in them

Got any mates in the airforce?
