ah sweet seen one on t he way to galway a couple of weeks back, id imagine they were on the way to the races, i work down there monday to thursday so if you see a white daf cf knocking about with Christie written on the roof gimme a flash. to my knowledge other than the one in belfast there are very little if any in my area. not a bad thing really but it does get wayyyyy too much attention, couldnt leave it in a carpark for any length of time at all, id be sh1tting my pants till i got back

My girlfriend said that stuff is pretty common, when you've something nice a lot people aren't exactly afraid to harm/steal it. I had to assure her, it's common here too, but it's more likely people would damage it when you're not looking, that throwing paint from a window would be pretty damned risky here, liable to get a bunch of rednecks pulling the painters from their van and having them eat their own stripper... or sued.. jeeze people like to sue here.. (USA)

In reply to "anyone from ireland"..

Does it count that I plan on moving to the Dublin area? My g/f of several years and I will be getting a place there. She's from Dublin, I'm a noob software engineer and a mechanic by choice, though I'm afraid I'm WAY better at early 90's Subarus than classic Mustangs.

I'll be moving after I finish my degree in linguistics, with a major in computer science. (Nearly everything in Ireland- job-wise that I've seen requires a degree huh, so it's a prerequisite to moving for me.)

I'm in Missouri, right now, but I've lived in Arizona, "Kalifohnia" and Japan. Hmm, think there's a call for Japanese speakers in Dublin? hehe mehbe not..

Don't worry though, my girlfriends mom says, "Oh, good! You're not one of those Stupid Americans..." I just laughed, as I'm WELL aware of some of the types we've got here.... I think living all over the place tends to open ones eyes to that fact, but I've always treated people the way I'd like to be treated...

So yeah, I will be in Dublin in about 2.25 years, one degree and another $15,000 of schooling (I'm half way done, but working off the debt right now, so it's a small four year break) It certainly sucks paying ones own way through school.

My car: (1969 Coupe, 302, Auto, Leather bucket seats.)
A little nip-tuck action on her rear?

I've had this car since 2001, so it's definitely coming with me, it'll look more like this quick photoshopped pic when it's finished, only in a navy blue and white Shelby stripes...

Okay, I'm done waffling.. for at least a little while.

(wow) some speech ken ,why dont you buy a brand new mustang now and bring it over to dublin with you,if you regester and own a car in the states for twelve months or more you are exempt from paying any duty in ireland ,so you could sell it here and make a tidy profit
