Henk, you can leave the headlights as they are. All you gotta do is replace the amber daytime driving lights with white ones. In the rear, easiest way to get it done is to put yellow bulbs into your backup driving lights and put the backup driving light and the rear fog light under your rear bumper - set up the electric stuff in a new way and you're done.
We got several companies in Germany doing this more or less professional and depending on where you are, we can do it for you.

I love Germany, but had a 1985 Dodger conversion van while I was there and had to use a lot of side walks in small villages..I did get to drive 160 mphs in a 1996 Dodge Caravan with turbo.. whoa..Can't beat Oktoberfest!!! Prost K-Town ! Army here. I got stuck. In Munich, the home of the Oktoberfest. I met my wife here in 1990, she's a LN. Got out of the service and joined the Bavarian State Police.
My '05 Stang does about 170mph with the mods I have. Ain't that some fun on the Autobahn...
There is a bunch of US service members on mightymustangs.net as well.

I would not mind getting stuck in Munich.. almost missed a train to Garmish after an Oktoberfest day.. we all forgot how to get back 3 blocks to the bahnhof..we will have to hook up when we get back over there..I gave up the Autobahn for US 19 in the Tampa area..

AFRC Garmisch is still there ! They re-did the Patton Hotel, Marshall Center and everything.
Heck, I wouldn't trade the Autobahn for a highway or interstate. I'm from the area where I-10 hits I-410. No thanks !

Kelly and Randolph... Is Randolph still there ? I know Lackland is, but I heard some other AFB's closed down.

Most of Kelly closed down a couple years back.. Fences were changed between Lackland and Kelly. Brooks was down scaled also.. Randolph will never close as there are at least 6 Hqs on it..we can drive up to New Braunsfels and hit some good German stuff, but Fred would not be too bad..we can hit Luckenbach..
Wow, lots of changes around SA.... I've been back in 2006, but didn't make it to the AFB's on the southside. My cousin used to work at the BX/PX on Lackland back in the old days (90's).
New Braunfels is a good idea ! There is a place called "Friesenhaus" with genuine German food and beer. After that we can drive to downtown Luckenbach and have a beer at the post office. :-))
