Hi all,

I'm based just outside of downtown San Diego and I'm very new to the American classic muscle scene. Originally from the UK I have been in the US for 10 years and only now am I starting to get the classic muscle bug.

My girlfriend and I have agreed to start saving next year with the goal of buying a clean, solid 67 GT Fastback as our first ever classic car and then slowly transforming it into a 500GT Replica.

I'd really like to meet up with any San Diego based owners, see their cars and really start to get a deep understanding of the year and model that I am hoping to own one day. I want to know EVERYTHING right down to the gauge of the wires that connect to the fog lamp switch and run through the 3/4" grommets in the radiator. Yeah I'm a freak for the details.

So if there's any :smartass:old timers:smartass: out there that would like to teach a semi-old/young brit about all of the beautiful details of the classic pony Fastback hit me up, I'll bring the donuts and coffee if you bring the knowledge.

Looking forward to becoming an American muscle addict.

Joel

ok, guys check this i have everything planned out, i have everything worked out. May 8th, 2010 Mega Mustangs meet/cruise. At the very back end parking lots of the IRVINE SPECTRUM. From 2pm to 4pm. bring performance parts you want to sell. we can discuss the time and make it change but the date cannot. i will make a flyer and send it out to people who send me their real email, post it on your forum websites. and mabey copy some and post them in your area. i live in the lake forest /mission viejo area . and ill start spreading flyers and spreading word. for some ideas how to spread the word , talk to people at your local cars shows, performance shops, post flyers at college campuses.call your radio stations (im going to call 95.5 KLOS). Lets get moving. And we might be able to get this to be a annual thing. IT DOSENT MATTER HOW SLOW,FAST,HALF RESTORED,OLD,OR NEW YOUR MUSTANG IS. ITS GOOD ENOUGH.
