He wanted to see if I would race him, but I won't street race, besides there was a cop up in front of me about three car lengths. We both took another highway and the cop went his way. One thing I had my oldest son in the car and trying to show him not to street race. The vette also had a girl with him, so to make him look bad I won't race.
On the same highways, had this guy with a 427 Roush wanting to race me. This guy wouldn't stop at all. So when there was some open road I let him know I had power too (30 yards) and that was it. I got on three different highways and he kept following me. I was by myself this time and he also has a girl with him.
I use to race at the Q and Barona, but I don't street race. Last dyno my car put down 447rwhp/425tq

As soon he gets back he parks the car then about 5 min after 4 cop cars and 02 mustang came. now im thinking why the hell is there a mustang here with all these cops. person came out and it was a chick cop. she was a ***** sayin all this ****, with wat she saw and stuff. as soon as they came a helicopter came from the distance and shined its spotlight on us. now im thinking damn... that was pretty fast. i wasnt really too worried cause i was just trippin out with wats happenin(smoked a little herb before :kooky:). so 2 cop cars left the helicopter left and the undercover cop left. there were 2 cops left and they asked ok who did it. nobody said anything, then he started saying "i can have these cars impounded and take everyone here to jail for being spectators." then my two friends went up and confessed, at that time i was thinking o man they are soo ******! after that the guy said alreat first off, you guys know better, dont do it anymore, and what the hell are you guys doin here at 9:30? we were thrown off by that and i asked, so whats gonna happen? the cops said nothin just gotta write somthin down cause since they called the chopper in he has to make a story. so he made a b.s story; we talked to them for a bout an hour or so about what cars they had experiences craziest chase, craziest car. one of them was there when that guy stole that tank and went a wall drivin around sd. the other guy said he had a 02 wrx not sti puttin down 420 to the wheels on a dyno. we had some good laughs and we were just sayin, we could have gotten f'd in the ass 2 times.

I got catch up behind her at a 3 lane red light. There is some guy on a bike next to her and I'm behind her. A Viper rolls up along side of me. Since he is the "supreme" mopar, he just kinda brushes me off. Him and his buddy in the car start saying "look at that ***** "my wife" in the Mustang" "Yo just smoke her ass bro" All three cars are of course revving the engines. So, by this time the lights turn green, the dude on the bike changes lanes to get out of the way LOL. My wife (bless her heart) doesn't realize she is about to get bit by the "other" snake. The Viper launches forward and I noticed that he has temp plates on the car. I thought to myself hmmmm "guy in a Viper with temp tags" he may not have the hang of that T-56 yet hehehe. So I went for it. Needless to say when I blew past him and her doing 75MPH in a 35 the only thing he was doing was looking down fiddling with the gearbox LOL.... that dude never knew what hit em :wavey

He begins to come up behind me and I pull into 3rd and just hold the pedal down.. about 3 secs later hes about 600 feet away I dont hold it long because I really dont like to street race and after holding down the pedal outta 3rd im usually at about 100-115 so unless i wanna lose the car or lose my life I prefer to stay at only 10 or 15 over the limit... but there are times like these where I just feel like people need to b put into place and It only take a couple seconds.. then if they wanna fly past me after theyve eaten my dust that cool with me i already have proven my point..

so yeah i told this story one other time. this kid on my street who has always been the laughing stock out of all my friends who used to live in my neighborhood drives a 2000-2003 eclipse gt. when we were all little we would beat this kid up and make fun of him and told him he cant be in the "club" and he would go home crying and stuff. well he HAD an evo, but got in trouble with his parents with drugs so they sold it. and he comes back from rehab after 2 years and brings home this hideous black eclipse. the paint is coming off on the top and the quarter panels and everything. its a mess. he has the dashboard taken off, the rear seats removed, and it is just a hideous looking vehicle inside and out. he says he hasa new engine, becasue his other one had a turbo on it and blew, which i'm suspecting as bs, but i'll get to that in a moment lol. he was talking crap about my car to my neighbor and the first thing he told my neighbor about my car was that "it can beat evans car". so i had to do it. i bet him money on a race and whoever lost had to pay 40 bucks to the winner. so we raced 3 times and i won really badly each time, and i called him after because i made a u turn and went home and he was saying all this crap about my car and how he could beat me with a civic and all this rediculous stuff. so it has been almost 2 months and he hasn't paid me. he keeps saying he'll pay me this day, and he doesnt after i call him and text him a bunch of times to get a hold of him. and he keeps saying different days, and i call him and text him on the day he's supposed to pay and he says nah man im not payin u youre bothering me too much. like wtf???? he keeps doing this! he just told me on sunday (the 6th day he said he'd pay me) that he would have it after his birthday, which was on friday. so i called him 5 times today and texted him twice and no answer. i get into my car to go fishing and he comes out of his house and drives down the street. so i blocked the road from him going by and talked to him and he said nah man its monday you gotta give me more time and stop bugging me about it! OMG DUDE! he always says im bugging him, but i wouldn't have bugged him if he had paid me right after the damn race! even a week after! WTFFFFFFFF?!@?!?!?1 this kid is totally driving me crazy man. two weeks ago i really got pissed at him and sent him these long texts about how he always floors his car down the street when i step foot outside of my house (which is true. he must be on a constant look out out his front door looking for me and my brother to walk outside so he can "show off" his car) and about how hes being a huge pus*y about the whole thing, about how he went on and on about my car being slow, that his car can beat mine, and he cant pay 40 bucks cause i won????????
has this ever happened to anybody???? like what would you guys do if it took 2 months for someone to pay after they were talking serious crap??????????? what woukld you guys do in my situation?

So he just bought a 91 Camaro RS with the 305. Said the guy just rebuilt the motor 2500 miles ago. put a "High Performance" Cam in it and a shift kit in the tranny. Well we are driving through town one day and the light in front of us turns red. He says "well would you look at that." I told he hes probably got me because I have bald tires and I'll just spin. He said "we'll see" and waits for the light. Well light turns green, he punches it and I dump the clutch. I spin through 1st as I new I would but he only pulls a foot or two on me. I slam 2nd and so does he. I pull hard when the tires finally catch. I only went to 50mph which was just over the speed limit. but i had pulled 1/3 of a car on him!:rollgrin: When we got to out destination he didnt have a word to say! HAHA

Sun, 15 Nov 2009 05:29:05 GMTgrabbed a coffee and was leaving the cafe. some dude in a newer maxima was behind me. pulled out of the plaza and onto the road, red light. dude pulls up next to me. we're waiting for green..soon as it turns green he goes "f**kin shitty mustang" and took off. kinda made me laugh. i caught up with him at the next red..he goes "yo lets see if its true that muscle beats import everytime"..i told him i dont race, especially on roads where there is regular traffic. he called me a p*ssy and drove off. for some reason that got to me.
now i didnt wanna get next to him and drive with any kinda pep whatsoever as that would be a total giveaway for street racing, even to the smart as a fox (not) cops around here.
next light i pulled up behind him on purpose and turned off O/D and TCS. this is when i saw the 3.5 badge so i knew what to expect. at green he went, i let it roll for about a second so we had some space between our cars and i had some more traction. then i went as well. i was right behind him while accelerating, i didnt let him pull away..the speed limit was 80 km/h and he went up to a 100 but i wouldnt let the distance between our cars increase..i even sped up a little more so i was almost on his tail for a quick second and then i braked and slowed down a lottt deliberately so he wouldnt say he smoked me. next light i really wanted to see what he had to say now..i even switched over into the right turn lane just to get next to him LOL. no traffic at all on that lane luckily. he looked over and said "iight iight" and nodded like the young G that he was. this time at green he didnt take off hard, neither did i.
i just wanted to re-inforce that even a base ford 4.0 can keep up with his top of line 3.5 import and that he should think twice before using the word "sh*t" before "mustang".
(although i know i shouldnt have taken the bait and gone speeding:nono:)

Normally I take the Explorer for these trips but the wife had it so I'm cruising in the Mach minding my own business on the interstate at about 70. I look in the rearview and this car is blinding the heck out of me. I change lanes, so does he. A few more lane changes and the guy is still tailing, riding my bumper. So I was curious, trying to get him to bite I give it a little gas up to about 85 and let off. He was right where I left him.... I'm cruising at 70 again and here this guy comes right beside me flipping me off and guns it. What did I do wrong? Lol.

Thu, 12 Nov 2009 02:07:04 GMTOh my goodness, I don't know what happened! I got on the highway to go to work, I'm in the far right lane with cruise control on and set to 65 mph. Then the first guy pulls up next to me, revs his engine, honks, and then floors it. The dang cruise control just couldn't keep up with him! Then some black Integrade pulls up behind me, and after tailgating me for awhile he farts on up next to me, and took off to race me. I lost twice, that darn cruise control! Finally there is a a gray 4 door cobalt with some black rims on it that rides my side for awhile. So I kinda messed with him. Up ahead (200 feet) the highway splits and my lane goes one way and the other lane goes the opposite way. So I look at the cobalt driver, nodded, and did a little finger count down. Off he went. And off I went the other way. My poor cruise control just couldn't keep up with these insanely fast drivers. So if any of you see on another forum how someone beat a 2010 GT500, you know it was me.
lol isn't reality too funny sometimes? I'm sure each one of those people blew by me and went off to brag that they beat the most powerful mustang they could wrap their minds around. . . and in all honesty all they did was endangered other drivers by trying to race a guy who was cruising to work in a base mustang and jamming to a little three days grace.

Tue, 10 Nov 2009 17:35:59 GMTwas on my home from work and spotted a 96-98 cobra convert ride by as i wait to merge onto the highway. it had a very loud raspy exhaust tone and was lowered with black rims. not paying attention i slowly catch up to him going down the highway. once he notices me he accelerates 2 or 3 times as we...was on my home from work and spotted a 96-98 cobra convert ride by as i wait to merge onto the highway. it had a very loud raspy exhaust tone and was lowered with black rims. not paying attention i slowly catch up to him going down the highway. once he notices me he accelerates 2 or 3 times as we are in a bit of traffic. finally traffic clears and im thinking im gonna get smoked especially from a highway roll. 2 times we roll from about 60 mph all the way up to 130 with me ahead of him by abiout a car until around 110 ish when he closed it to about 1/2 a car. i was very suprised and he gave me a thumbs up and turned off. alot of fun and dude was a cool guy and very suprised by the outcome. thinking maybe he had some step gears or something to limit his top end charge maybe? especially considering my 02 gt is basically stock except for a cai.

and my friend flat out floors his 4 banger 97HP machine and tries to pass me, i look in my mirrors and hes all up next to me concentrating and i barely push on the gas pedal, while hes got his floored, once we hit about 60 he yelled "DAMMIT THAT THINGS FAST!"
then merged back in behind me.
all this time, nor did i downshift from 4th, or even get to 1/4 throttle.
thought i'd share that lol.

He pulled along side me on the NE extension of the PA Turnpike this afternoon, both doing 70 mph with no other vehicles in sight. I D/S into 3rd, nodded once, and we were off. I immediately started pulling on him, was a car ahead by the top of 3rd, and continued pulling in 4th. He gave up, and dropped back quickly. I slowed down to 50, and waited for him to catch up so I could give him a :bigthumbsup, and ask him about his ride. Unfortunately, I never got the chance as he quickly scooted past me, and eventually got mixed in with traffic.
I'm guessing he had no performance mods, and his car was a later model GT with 3.31 gears based on how easily I was able to pull on him.

He is already about a 1/2 car length ahead and count to three with his fingers a punches it. I waited to hear the BOV on his car and downed it to 3rd gear and...First kill ever, It felt good. I waited to hear the BOV on his car and downed it to 3rd gear and punched it. It was from a roll of about 55 to 85 and I put about a car length and 1/2 on him before I shut it down. I think he was a little disappointed. I informed him his car only has about 215 ft/lbs of torque and my has almost 300. I get up and go a bit quicker. I cant wait for my H/C/I in a few weeks. Then Im buying a 8.8 and getting some 4.10 gears. It should be a blast then.

Fri, 06 Nov 2009 03:09:55 GMTSo I'm out riding today not too far from my house on a divided highway. I'm in the slow lane at a red light and out of no where an Evo MR comes up beside me. I usually notice nice cars coming up on me but this one caught me off guard. I'm still stock with 3.31 gears and the Evo was quiet so I'm guessing it was too. We're looking each other's cars over and waiting on the light. Across the intersection there is a railroad crossing meaning we can't go from a stop. With what seemed to be the same thought, we both took off easily, staying beside each other in 1st gear. We crossed the tracks at about 10 mph and both hit the gas with perfect timing. The Evo immediately put a car length on me but I stayed in it. He shifted a little earlier than me and about the time I finished second gear we were neck and neck. I go to third and I'm still pushing hard. (The highway was desolate, I swear.) The Evo is putting up a fight and neither of us can pull away. Now the bad part. We're coming up on a curve (Doing about 120 at this point) but before we can get there, a cop comes around it and immediately hits his lights and dives into the median. I instictively lock it down but I'm still running about 90 when I pass him. (limit is 55) The Evo never lets out and keeps going. I pull over and the cop stops and runs to my window with gun in hand and tells me to wait on another patrol car and then jumps back in his car and takes off after the Evo. I'm so shocked and scared that I sit there about ten seconds and realize I'm probably going to jail so I leave and come home. I haven't gotten any calls so I guess he didn't get my tag. I don't know what happened to the Evo driver. This has taught me that I need to keep it on the track, even though I have never endangered a bystander while racing. Ya'll be careful out there.

Fri, 06 Nov 2009 03:09:25 GMTSorry about this post. Kind of a rant at this point as I'm quite sure I know the answer. There is this kid at UTI here in PA I got talking to about foxbodies. After telling me that he has a 87 LX I told him I have an 87 GT that I'm building a 351w for. He then proceeded to tell me how putting a 351 in a foxbody is the worst idea ever. Said something about the 351 weighing a lot more and all. Then he says,"man my 302 will blow the doors off your 351 gt any day of the week." I almost laughed in his face when he told me what he had done to the car.

I asked him what heads he had on there and he told me stock. Everything that I have read leads me to believe that he isn't making more than 250 at the wheels with this setup. My question to you is, do you think I could take him? 351w with comp cams .512 lift .212/.218 duration cam, windsor Sr. heads(gasket matched), professional products intake, 24 lb injectors blah blah blah. In my eyes I can't even really see his car touching mine. Opinions?

We took him from a 30mph roll and I easily put about 3 lengths on the stang with my buddy hanging door to door with him. That was the end for me, but they had at it from the next light and were door to door. This wouldn't have been anything unusual except, apparentyl the stanger told my friend, while they were at the light, that he had a bunch of work done and like 400 rwhp. BULL! :nono: I don't imagine my car puts down more than about 265hp 310ft/lb. He's either full of it or has been ripped off. I'm sorry for him either way.

They know I drive a Stang but i havent got asked to race. So im kinda wondering if i should race one or all of them haha. Im not 100% sure what they all have but I know one of them has a 350Z. Hes the biggest traget on my list of races i wanna run :wavey. But i wanna know something before i race him. If he is all stock could i beat him? I know he isnt stock because he has dual far cannons, but thats all i know he has.
So if he is stock could i beat him? Or how bad would i lose if he has a turbo or something...
NOTE: All i have on my car is a CAI. Sometime this month Im gonna get a Transgo shift kit and 4.10 gears.

If you're ever on youtube watch a few mustang races against your typical rice machine, it is usually done from the point of view of the rice machine, so all you see is the mustang.... Most times you will see that the race is done from a roll of 50-60mph..... why would somone who knows much about their car would race a stang from a roll.... IMO Mustangs are not very good for this due to gear, characterristics of the engine (unless your in a Terminator, Shelby GT500), i was wanting to know if my assumptions are right? Im not trying to start a war or anything but from what im seeing running from a roll is really disgracing mustangs. I always have to tell them to race from a dead stop and the outcome would be a completly different ball game....

The right lane ends and has to merge to the middle lane about 1/8 of a mile after the intersection. I am at the light and look over at the guy in the Viper and he is looking at me. I smile and do the head nod thing.
It's on.
I am watching the cross lights to go yellow, then waiting for the cars to make their left turn from the opposite direction. last car goes through and I select 1st gear and wait for the green. When the light goes green, I jump out and look to see if the Viper is going to nail it and I see he is about half a car behind me. but, since I am accelerating a little harder than normal, I know he is about to nail it too. So, I go WOT with plenty of room in front of us. all through 1st he didn't gain or pull on me (but that gear lasts all of 2 seconds). I hammer 2nd and my rear tires break loose. By the time I get traction, the Viper starts to pull on ahead and switch to the middle lane. I shut it down at 60 (50 mph zone) and so does he.
I knew I would lose, but I didn't know by how much. He probably wasn't all the way into it. but, maybe he was since it was such a short race. if we had gone through 3rd, he would have put bus lengths on me. as it turned out, it was a car and a half.
fun never the less and the guy wasn't arrogant about the beat down I received.

Back when I had my '65 s/c 289, I was racing a BMW down the busiest street in town (also where the cruising goes on) and we were just jammin down the street, i was creepin up on 100, and he was close behind me. I was in the middle lane, he was on the far right. A jeep pulled out infront of me, I switched to the far left to avoid him, and the ***** switches with me! At this point I have nowhere to go except a turning lane to my left, I jump into it, hit the brakes but I can't stop in time, I go across, into the next oncoming turning lane and straight into on-coming traffic. I catch a curb with my rear tire, but thank god i didn't blow out my tire/**** up my rims. I take a hard left and slam on the gas as hard as I can and tail whip it around and BARELY keep up with traffic. Haha, I remember saying "Holy ****, i'm never racing again. I SWEAR I WILL NEVER SPEED AT ALL!!!" I was racing a week later, ahaha ;)
