Its been awhile since i've logged on here so first of all hello to all. Ok on to the good stuff, i'm looking into buying a set up from leathal performance to gain more traction. The parts im getting are; CHE Anti Squat Bracket, CHE Panhard Brace, CHE Adjustable Panhard BAR, BMR Upper control arm, BMR uppercontrol arm mount, and BMR lower control arms. I have oppted to get all poly bushings because i intend on keeping it as a daily driver, however it does see the track occasionally. I'm tired of wheel hop and getting zero traction, will this do the trick? also im not lowered but still want the anti squat brackets and upper control arm mounting bracket, will there be any traction gain for this or is it just for lowered cars?

Anyways, i was installing my new corbeau harnesses and i scratched the hell out of my interior plastic parts! it could have been the dremel i used on them to try and shave them down....:nono: ya bad idea, that what happens when you dont get enough sleep and your frustrated with your car... i basically ruined those plastic parts right where the top of the seal belt connects.
Does anybody have an idea where i can buy those plastic panels so then i can replace them because they look like hell and i cant find any dealers who sell them, id rather not go to ford if i dont have to though.
Heres a picture of what im talkin about

3 weeks ago i ordered MAC longtubes. I got them in a timely manner but when I tried installing them the exhaust ports didn't line up right. so i called and got a return authorization on them. i mailed them in on november the 5th. UPS told me they arrived to their destination the following monday the 9th. i called to verify they received them and they said they would be in the mail by thursday the 12th. using the same UPS timeframe I was expecting them monday. monday came around, and they never came. tuesday.. nothing. wednesday? still nothing. i finally called today 2 weeks after i sent them in and the guy tells me they just now made it to his desk and NOW he will take a look at them and give me a call this afternoon when he knows something.. frustrated i say fine but he says even if they're messed up (which they are) they dont have any in stock so I would have to wait longer. it's getting borderline lawsuit in my books now. i'm planning on going to law school after i get my degree so it can serve as some practice. i can't STAND companies that use this kind of excuse of customer serivce. on top of all this, he never called.

I heard if you park the car for a long time at same spot the tires are getting damage, is that true??? I heard you should drive the car for a little at least so the tires are turning or something. I'm planning to store the car for winter which she won't be driven for a long time, is just starting her every week or so good enough just to run engine??? I don't want to have a bend or damaged tire after winter sitting the car still.

Ford dropped the ball with the 2010, in my opinion. The 2010 Camaro looks awesome. If anybody has got any connections with Ford designers tell those guys to forgot about a Mustang with a European flair ( except for the Italian design). Give us the true blue American muscle look. Long live the Mustang.

okay so wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :fuming:

that took a LOT more work than i thought it would. I had to first off remove 5 push fasteneres from the wheel fender liner, 3 bolts also.

Then i pulled off my radiator extension and the bolt and fastener holding the headlight in from above. Then i pulled off 3 nuts and removed the metal backing plates that held 3 screws on it that connected the bumper to the front end.

Then i had to literally crawl under my car with a work-light and feel my way around. I needed to unplug the parking lights in order to not whack the wires with the wrench. I finally got a hold of the bolt near the washer fluid tank, got the bolt off, still wouldn't come out. Then i found another nut, took that one off. Then another nuts. Then finally the front fascia had a plastic piece sticking out about 3 inches into a molded piece of the headlight.

FINALLY it took me 5 minutes to wiggle th headlight, rotate it, and curse at it till it came out.... :so

Getting the new CFFL halo headlight in there was also extremely challenging. I didn't even bother to wire up the halo because i was already out of daylight and had 4 shop lights in my driveway trying to light the way while i buttoned up the car cause i needed to go to class.

Morole of the story is it took me 2 hours 15 min to take out and install 1 headlight. 1!!!!!!!!!! Next time when i do the driver's side, i am going to take the tire off, i think its extra work but well worth the clearance. It will create another 10 min of work (5 on 5 off) but i think i'll be able to do the next on in under 1.5 hours hopefully less now that i know what to look for. Then i have to do the wiring, oh joy.... :yakyak:

my hope is by the end of this upcoming weekend to have the entire CFFL halo set installed and wired up for a photo shoot;)

In the new door, it still pops up to make the suction lock when you open and close it, but occasionally there is a squeel through the window as though it is not completely sealed. I think it formed to the window of the original door. Any ideas of what I could do to get the squeel to stop?

My car will be stored this Winter in the garage of the place owned by the guy who has done every modification on my Mustang.

So once again I am thinking about racing stripes....

I was thinking of having him put them on while the car was in storage.

Here is my line of thought. I want to make my car stand out a little more at car shows next season. And it would definitely give my convertible a different personality. I have seen many verts with racing stripes and I think they look very cool on them.

I am still thinking subtle though. Like dark charcoal metallic stripes which would match my car's interior. I thought about matte black but they can't be waxed which would be a major pain when I use the quick detailing sprays on my car because most of the ones I use contain some carnuba wax. The stripes would also have an added bonus by covering up a few small chips that have accumulated during the past 2½ years.

So what say you ? Yes...another poll.....lol....but that's easier than counting all the posts...
