Create forums for the different chassis/body styles?

i had a thought today; i think it would truely benefit the site to create new forums speciffically for the different body styles of mustang (fox, s197, ect). i think it would really help clean up some of the other forums because then, (regardless of what engine, tranny, mods ect someone is running,) if they have a question related only to a commanality of that particular body style then it could be posted to a forumn speciffic to that style and they would have a wider range of ppl to draw responses from. i see a lot of similar threads in the 5.0l, 2.3l v6 ect about fox bodies with door lock questions, windows, and the like, and if would be soooo helpful for users not to have to search thru multiple forums for answers to their questions, and also for questions that i can answer for people about things like the afore mentioned door locks whick are the same on the foxes.

and sorry for the plethera of posts i made today in this section, but i wanted to make sure that someone else hadnt already suggested this and i saw some other suggestions i felt i should +1 on.

AFM Meets/Gatherings?

Not sure if this has already been addressed but why doesnt AFM have occasional meetings, or gatherings in different places around the country...like not necessarily run by AFM staff but maybe members in certain areas can set stuff up to get all the forum members together?

How about under the regional area of the forum to have a section devoted to local shops that people who HAVE PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with the shop can recommend it to people for normal work. I know we have sponsers such as Tillmanspeed for performance related items but i am talking more like a mom and pop kinda shop. With a good hard working guy covered in grease all day and who doesn't have time to get on a PC but does A+ work. If we can get some kind of a rating system going for people who have visited the shop so guys can look around and find a shop with a high rating and some kind of feedback and know where they are going. I have had several people ask me about local shops and i never really know where to turn them unless they are living close to me. Hence why i thought put it in the regional area so people lookup their region and can find a reasonably close shop to get repairs or mods from.

Just a thought lying in bed at 1 am last night:smartass:
