Which ProCharger? Advice?

Hello fellow Mustang enthusiasts!

I am seriously considering adding this from Summit.

Supercharger, Centrifugal, Polished Finish, 6-8 psi, Ford, Mustang, 5.0L, Kit.
Does anyone know anything about it (good or bad)? I have my mods below and I am wondering if this is a good buy for my 302:scratchchin

aluminum edelbrock heads
Anderson N-21 cam
trickflow upper and lower intake
sct chip
hpipe
pulleys
CAI
Throttle Body
LT Headers

Also, I am thinking about going away from my 4.30 gear and go back to a 3.73. I HATE THAT DAMN 4.30!!:nono: In the red too fast!
Thoughts? 3.90 gear???

Also considering a Tuff Stuff Replacement Alternators (chrome): heard anything about these alternators?

Finally, what do you guys think my GT will have as far as horsepower when it's done?

Leak in Convertible top

My convertible leaks on the passenger side right at the front edge where the top is attached to the body just behind the quarter window. With the inner trim off you can see it dripping between the fabric and the metal. Is there any way to stop this?

Anyone using a BBK MAF? If so how's it been working? Also wondering if BBK Can recalibrate, or are you stuck with the orignal calibration? I need to replace mine now and had to put my stock injectors (19s) back in awhile ago, but will be swapping back to 24s in the next few months.

1995 Mustang GT Not cranking in cold weather

Alright, YES I am a chic, so this is not going to sound all technical... I have a 1995 Ford Mustang GT(5.0, 302... what ever you wanna call it)... all last winter and so far this winter every time I go out to go some where and the weather is slightly cold to freezing my car will not crank.. I have had sensors replaced, the nurser switch in the trunk was the latest mechanic's idea of the problem... can anyone help me figure out what else I can do to ensure my car will crank like any other normal car does? I mean really, I have missed work, and appointments because of this and finally got wise and kept another car around.. however, I love my Mustang and if it will crank I am driving it... I dont want to get rid of it.. I want to FIX IT!!! OPEN TO ANY IDEA!!!!:worship

AOD-E Issue

Once again its another aode problem!:smilie

A few weeks ago it started when cruising about 35mph,the box was kinda braking on/off at 1 second intervals,almost felt like someone pulling the e-brake on and off really quickly.
Its still happening but for longer periods now until i hit the gas again,its running mercon v & i had accumulator pistons changed a while back.
Also just changed the MLPS switch,any ideas guys?

Driveshaft making noise

Alright I finished my auto to 5 speed swap a few months ago. The tranny I ended up with came out of a 95 3.8. I used a 5.0 bellhousing to make it all fit ("picking up a T-5 soon"). I had to buy a driveshaft to replace the auto one. When I shift it clunks if I disengage the clutch but if I slowly release it its fine. Are the driveshafts the same size on the 3.8 and 5.0? Its almost like the input shaft has play. Someone else told me it could be the u joints.

I was looking around more on this site and found the conversion to the PBR calipers on the 99 and up cars. I was just wondering if anyone has done this and if there was a big change in braking. I had been looking at getting the cobra brake upgrade but this would be much more affordable. I am also curious if you could just pick up these parts at a local parts store, were the PBR calipers stock on all these later mustangs? Thanks for your help

1994 Mustang GT, water pump question

i have a 1994 gt, i was woundering if i too the timing chain cover off a fox body and put an electric water pump for a fox body on. will that work with my setup? i will be removing the ac comprssor and ac stuff. how would i route the belt?

Underperfoming Car

After adjusting the tcs and other electronics i have dialed in the air a little better and my car is not running as rich... i still need and tune and something is still up with the car im running 14.6 with gt-40 heads, tfs stage 1 cam, headers back exhaust and cold air intake with 70mm MAF

im told i should be at least runing in the low to mid 13s

any suggestions?

As many of you, I would like to tune my 95 Mustang Convertible. I have changed the rear end from the stock 2.72 to a 3.73 Ford Racing with a Ford Racing griddle. It did not make that much of a difference, so now I'm looking for a tuner before I go into the engine. It has original 73K miles and I believe it should be much perkier...
Any help, advise?

hello i am new to this site and had a few questions regarding some of the code i got when i did the KOEO test. i have a couple of smog pump related codes but im not worried about them.. i am concerned with code 176. lean left side and 543 Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit Failure : battery to pcm. If the relay that controls the fuel pump is not working correctly would it seem that the car is starved for fuel? and if so should i replace the ccrm. my cooling fan was not working correctly so we have bypassed it and put in a relay so it would come on when the key is on. What would cause the left side lean code to appear. there are no vaccumn leaks and plugs and wires are good.. is it just the o2 sensor bad or would that just be a start. The light doesnt come on right away it waits about 2 - 5 mins while driving and will not come on when just idling. thanks

I have a 94 vert with a stock 5.0. I have the necessary K&N, FMS shorty ceramic coated headers, American Thunder cat back, BBK X Pipe with cats (for inspection), summit off road H-pipe,(for the rest of the year), 155 fuel pump, bbk fuel regulator, hurst comp shifter,and FMS 3.73:1's.

My dilema is my flowmasters. The DRONE is getting old. Plenty loud and throaty with the H pipe, but when I run the cat X pipe it is even worse. I mean it sounds killer, just that my ears are taking a beating. This car sees 70+ miles a day.

I was wondering if anyone is running glasspacks on their cars whether catted or off road pipes. How loud are they and do they sound good? Do they sound cheap and tinny? The volume doesn't bother my ears, it is just the specific tone. I have heard of numerous people ditching their flowmasters due to their annoying tones.

I have a 1995 GTS (manual), what is the plastic dash part that the shifter is covered by? i broke the plastic things on the bottom where the shifter boot ataches to and now have to glue the boot to it. it doesnt look bad but its killing me that im riding gheto with my car glued together. any help?

Tires/Rims on 1994 Mustang cobra

hey guys,

Did the brakes on my car today and saw that my front driver tire is done. Its starting to separate on the inside! :eek:

I need new tires all around but are so expensive for a 18", I was thinking about switched to some 15" rims. maybe 16"??

Anyone know of any good looking 15" rims?

I plan on putting some 275/50R15 MT ET Street Radials in the rear.

Any suggestions for front tires?

1994 Mustang GT convertible Courtesy light quit

In my 94 convertible, the courtesy lights in the mirror have stopped working. The bulbs are new, and there is power to the mirror. anyone ever effectively done a repair to this kind of lamp? I've had the mirror apart, and can't find any open circuit or open ground. Could I have lost the ground in the harness to the chassis?

question about the ax on the door tag (gear ratio)

i was looking around the site and found a thread about the door tag can tell u what ur stock gear ratio is but it was for a 90 mustang gt i have a 95 gt and the ax reads m and my buddie s reads z can anyone tell me if this is the stock gear ratios and if so what is the letters m and z stand for?

Does anyone have a trick to changing the thermostat? Every time I try it leaks from the bottom. Should I use two gaskets or will that make things worse? I changed my water pump yesterday and this is the last task and it's getting to me lol... Any advice is appreciated.

1994 Mustang Cobra front strut replacement now pop noise over bumps

just like what the title says. i put tokico blues all the way around, i noticed when going over bumps there is a poping type noise on the rebound after contact with bump on the passenger front strut tower area. the driver side will make the same noise but you really have to hit the bump hard for it to act up.
i'm pretty sure it's coming front the factory plastic strut Boot/cover i put on the new struts.
has any one had an issue like this? Does anyone not run the factory boot/cover. is it a must? its not my daily driver and never see's rain etc.
