I am rebuilding a 1989 Mustang that has been sitting for awhile, I can get it to start but the ignition tumbler rolls back to far from run position and car will not stay running unless you hold key forward. I have never ran across this problem before and can not seem to figure it out. This is my first major rebuild. I have already replaced tumbler and key......any advice would be appreciated...Thanks in advance

I need some help !! These forums are great and I greatly appreciate any help. I'm not a "do it yourselfer," however, I love cars and when I'm in the market, I have a lot of work done to my cars. I am thinking of doing the following to an 05 Mustang V6 : -installing a cdc shaker system, using stock air cleaner, -installing a true dual exhaust system that uses GT mufflers and an x pipe, - having stripes (decal) put on the car hood, roof, trunk, and lower side stripes that says Mustang, having side window vents and rear spoiler painted stock factory Legend Lime. MY QUESTION IS, HOW MANY LABOR HOURS WOULD YOU SAY THE ABOVE WORK SHOULD TAKE? I DON"T WANT TO PAY TOO MUCH ! Thanks for any info. Guys who like cars but don't have all the time and or mechanical ability can be taken advantage of. Thanks again !
