351,slightly built,56,000 on motor. It has solid lifters so it does make a "ticking" sound, thats normal. Its the 3-4 loud raps toward the end of the video that worries me.

I am quite new to this forum, but it is a very worthwhile site!

I bought a brand new 2012 Mustang V6 Premium Package, with the 43S security package. This vehicle has no modifications and has been serviced only by the Dealer. Currently it has just over 10,000 miles.

This morning, I tried to open the car with the key remote, and there was no response. The trunk would not open either. I have tried the "spare" key, and the result is the same. The doors remain locked.

I have tried both keys in the lock (drivers side, as this is the only lock on this vehicle), and the keys will not turn.

The Dealership is unable to provide any assistance over the phone, and recommend the vehicle be towed to their service bay (it is currently in my Apartment parking lot). I am quite wary of this, as I would like to avoid all damage to this car (it is in excellent condition), and they would probably have to drag it a bit, as it is in the "Park Gear".

Please tell me how I can get the door open, or recommend a servicement who can visit the location and provide some on-site assistance.

Thanks for your help !

My car used to be a drag car before I got it. Im not sure if the previous owner had an automatic in the car or not. When I drive the car around it seems to be fine but after i drive for a while is when the check engine light comes on. Any help on what it will take to fix this or any advise would be great.

Ok so the first start in the morning or after sitting for several hours it starts right up but dies. You have to give it some gas from a couple min then runs like a champ. What I have done so far is put a bbk 190lph fuel pump, replaced fuel lines, fuel filter, fuel regulator, both o2 sensors, cleaned IAC (ohmed correctly), replaced TPS, ACT, MAF, and all the connectors to the items I have replaced. I have done the factory Idle reset as well. The car throws no codes. The car has the following modifications and ran fine for over a year with the mods. BBK 70mm throttle body, e303 cam, roller rockers, 3inch h pipe exhaust with cat delete. and bbk shortie equal length headers. I do have access to ALLDATA and the sensors pass the specs and I found TSB's that go into this issue but no luck with going through their procedures to fix issues. The car has no vacuum leaks. Does have a very small exhaust leak at manifold that i havent got to but i have no reason to believe thats the issue. Any idea would be great because i am at a total loss and never had this issue before.

Okay so hears the deal:
2005 Mustang GT, manual, only 54k miles on it

Things to consider: Just replaced my stock mufflers with flowmaster mufflers

So, when I shift into and out of 2nd gear and occasionally 3rd you can hear what sounds like grinding... but I cant really tell if it is grinding.

Also, when I am in about 1500-3000 RPMs, my mustang tends to jerk and loose a lot of power, almost as if it doesn't want to inject fuel. Feels like a giant or something is pushing back on my car, not allowing it to accelerate.

I used a Mac Code reader to see if it was an oxygen sensor or anything of the nature but no codes were thrown on reader.

Things I have done to try and help the problem:
Replaced Air Filter
Added Sea Foam to fuel
Checked Diagnostics
Felt Clutch, felt tension at about an inch to an inch and a half

Please help me out if you have had this problem or something like it, or if you know what might help fix my mustang.

Really appreciate any help I get. Thanks guys.

Ok, I'm perplexed and out of ideas. I can't get the curb idle below 1200rpm.

I have a 4150-style quick fuel carb, 680 vacuum secondary HR-680-VS. I recently switched to a lokar throttle cable and pedal because my old set-up wasn't getting a full WOT. That is the only change I made. Here's what have....

-302 stock bottom end with trickflow twisted wedge heads, trickflow stage 2 cam, dual plane intake.
-primary jets 70, secondary jets 74, IAB 70/70, high speed bleed 28/28, primary nozzle 31, power valve 6.5, needle &seat 100

I have tried the following:
1) throttle linkage is at absolute zero, curb idle screw backed out and cable linkage has some slack
2) choke is not stuck on high idle
3) my secondary "stop screw" (little set screw that can adjust secondary opening) has not changed since before throttle linkage change.
4) I confirmed that my secondaries are not opening as the lever is not coming off if the stop screw
5) while my idle mix shouldn't have changed, I reset it to 14.7 afr (I have meter)
6) by the way, that my idle screws are only out 3/4 turn from bottom. May open IAB later, but trying not to change too many things.
7) checked for vacuum leaks with carb cleaner while running, disconnected and plugged brake power boost, no other accessories.
8) I tried moving idle mix screws all the way in (to see if power valve is blown) but it does stall as soon as I get 1/2 turn out

What am I missing? This gremlin is driving me nuts! Any one that can help I'd appreciate it.
