Default This is the last straw, AFM! Lose the pop-ups or lose me!!

I don't know whose great idea it was to start having random, full page pop-ups on this site but I AM NOT COOL WITH IT! It is a pain in the ass to have to close these things every 2 minutes! I have gotten sick of watching this site sell out over the past year! I'm not putting up with this BS anymore!! Either the pop-ups go or I go!!

I agree, there aren't any full page pops ups on this site.

I had three of them from autos.com come up earlier this morning. No way do I have a virus, my Norton anti-virus is an ass kicker.

It wouldn't be a virus, it would be spyware.

Maybe, depends on how bad it is, search the web for spyware, there are a few freebees out there, I use Spyware Doctor which is in the top 5 best, I think it cost me 20 bucks.
Adaware is one freebee out there.
Microsoft also has a free beta version called windows defender.
There are some Internet "helpers" out there that make you think are a good deal but in fact install spyware, such as toolbars for Internet Explorer.

These popups you are getting are not coming from the AFM website. We do not have ANY full page popups on this site. May I suggest you look at getting Spyware Doctor or Adaware software to remove the spyware from your computer. I use Adware and I know you can download a free version which works very well.

Regards,

Thumbs down

I don't have pop-ups(I do use google popup blocker anyway), but I am now seeing what appears to be flash ads from Mothers Wax. It pops up over the scroll down menus, so I can't use them! When I mouse over near the ad a link appears that leads me to a site to unlock options from Opencube for $139? What is this all about Scott??? This is my work laptop, and I have Norton enterprise anti-virus that scans the entire laptop every week, and I also use Spy-Bot SD for adware and malware, so I do not think it's me.
