Default MPG boost

Hey everyone. I'm new to the site and was wondering if anybody could list a few tried and true MPG boosters besides driving style. Would any of the fairly basic mods help? Such as cold air intake, exhaust, etc. Right now I'm running strictly stock and getting about 19 city and 29 highway with my '01 V6 five speed.

Thanks! I'll try that mixture stuff. I've heard of it before but haven't tried it.

i have done everything i can think of to free up airflow. i removed the baffle from the airbox, i run an o/r Xpipe, i drive in hours that are lower traffic and i run the air pressure in my tires at the max on the sidewall. i switched to nitrogen last month to keep the air pressure more even when they get hot. i would not recommend that but i can tell when i have a tire that is low.

i have an 05 GT with an auto and i can ayerage jus tbelow 30 mpg depending on how much i have to drive the kids around.

I'd be concerned with adding acetone to my gas. Acetone is a pretty superglue remover, etc. with all of the plastics on the newer engines, I'd worry about the acetone slowly disolving fuel system components.

Acetone will eat rubber products. So expect to change fuel lines and gaskets often.
