Talking Mario falls for the AWD kit...

This is possibly the funniest conversation I've ever had on here. You rule Mario!

I am Preston, and Mario is ihaveamustang. This one is worth the read...

[does] the "AWD kit" in your signature stand for "all wheel drive kit?"

if so, that is deffinately, my first mod. haha

Preston
Yeah... Here's a link!
KaleCoAuto, Hard to find automotive items!

They have lots of good stuff there.

ihaveamustang
are you serious!!?!??!!

ALL WHEEL DRIVE!!!!

YOU MUST BE SO CRAZY FAST OFF THE LINE!!!

HOLY $^@&$^@$^@$&@^@&@(@*@&^@!!!!!

Preston
Yeah man, and corners are no problem for me... I'm really fast off the line but I think the 0-60 is now a little more like 5.2 seconds... Just because not all the power is going to the rears now.

ihaveamustang
ok and one question, what does it mean when the description in the link you gave me, says

"Please refrain from making left or right turns once this kit is installed. To enjoy the added handling benefits of AWD with this kit, is important that the steering wheel remains perfectly centered!"

is that being sarcastic? or am i missing something? haha

Preston
Haha yeah it's just being sarcastic. That's sorta the way their whole website is...

But yeah, it includes these "pulleys" that attach to your subframe so you're still able to turn (lol). I installed it myself... All you need to be able to do is put your car on jacks, remove the wheels, and bolt everything together.

ihaveamustang
that is so amazing. and i am deffinately getting it. like, that will be my first mod before anything.
now, i know you said you think your car is going like 5.2 0 -60 but do you feel the pull more?

Preston
Oh YEAH! It's unbelievable... You know... I could be wrong...

It's really weird, like it picks up like CRAZY! But you don't feel it as much... Idk!? Haha its nuts man. It definitely feels faster than stock. But it is like 116 degrees here so my 0-60 before (when I was stock) was probably around 5.8...

ihaveamustang
wait a second...you are so messing with me! lol that website doesnt have good parts lmao.

Preston
HAHAHAHAHAH this is so going in the Fun Zone!!!

wow way to get the noob, I admit it does seem a bit mean but if the guy was stupid enough to believe that for so long then he deserves to be made fun of.
