Hey Everyone,

I am wanting to start a Fantasy Football league because everyone that I was in a league with last year has gone with one of those expensive buy-in type leagues or just not playing and I don't want to join a random league (I would rather it be fellow forum members - I put this on a few other forums that I am on and nobody wants to do it unless it is on a certain one or there has to be so many players involved) - even if you are already in a league, this one is easy - no pressure to win, just have fun.

So I am wondering if anyone would like to join my league on NFL.com. Its free and just for fun. You don't have to do much other than pick you team and draft and then work the trades and other than that all you have to do is have fun and watch it progress.

Something that I mentioned before that was brought up was the fact no one was willing to do it with less than 10 players because of concerns of it being stacked with too many good players per team. Well I did it one year with 4 guys and it was a blast yes, for the most part everyone one had mostly good players on their team but it sure made it really interesting coming down to the end of the season!!!!

If you are interested please post and then send me a time frame (hopefully everyone can get near a computer in that window) that would work and I will set up a draft.

Hey flakm, I sent you a pm but not sure if it went through so I posted this.

I am thinking maybe Saturday afternoon/evening or Sunday afternoon/evening but right now as of an exact time I am not sure and if you have any time that would be better I can definately set it up that way. I am trying to get a few more guys that I used to work with to join in but I don't know if they will actually do it.

My big question is will you be willing to make a team if it is just two teams?

As I before said before this is the first year I have had problems getting a league together and really want to play even if that means a two team league. This year I am stuck trying to put together the usual free league - because I can't afford the 250 dollar buy in league, which since I don't gamble I think its the same. I did it one other year with only two teams and it wasn't bad actually. It was what some guys call stacked we both had really good players at every position but towards the end of the season it got really interesting and really tense because both teams were so close.

I sent e-mails to the other guys and I will give them until Friday morning and if they don't send me something back, I can set up the league (can't set it up until I set the draft date) then I can e-mail you and send you the draft time and password for the private league. BTW, the reason I am doing a private league instead of a public league (where random people can join in) is because the last time I did one by mid season when people were loosing they just up and quit - which was bad.

Disreguard the PM and the post above, I think we got a league, some of the guys that backed out on a different forum have said if we get 8 guys, they would be back in so far we have 4 and I am going to try to get one more so if we get three more we could get a league going.

Well since it seemed to be a quite the pain to get enough teams together I decided to make it more or less a battle of the forums. What I am thinking is we could have either a battle of the forum with other forums - if they so choose to join. There are like 4 guys from other forums - plus myself that are interested. But as I have learned already the 4 guys that are wanting to join in might not. So if that is the case then it would just be the members of this site or random ppl - unless we can get enough guys together.

The league is on ESPN.com - League Name is - (Ford Forums League).

Draft Date is August 9th, at 8:15 ET.
