Default Top 5 (or more!) movies of all time!

as the thread implies, what are your top 5 (or more) movies of all time?

here are mine (MY OPINIONS!)

number one: has to be Shawshank Redemption, easily the best movie of all time for me, blows everything else away by far. the hardships of prison and the friendships formed from this wrongful persecution make this movie tops in the business.

number two: Forrest Gump-tom hanks is brilliant in this movie. the story of this simpleton and his accomplishments (although fake) make for an entertaining and moving film

number three: The Green Mile-tom hanks, again, brilliant, nothing bad to say about this movie

number four: Inglourious Basterds-this movie was soooo good, if you havent seen it, you must go see it NOW.

Number five: Papillon and escape from alcatraz- im gonna put these tied for 5 because they were so good, and so close, its too hard to distinguish

number six: The Matrix-just the first one, the rest of em sucked hahaha

number seven- Saving Private Ryan, again...tom hanks, what more needs to be said?

number 8: Into the Wild- watching this movie is a rather freeing experience, i highly recommend watching this.

number 9: Superbad- funniest movie i've ever seen hands down.

number 10: Man on Fire- great book, but this is one of the instanances where the movie actually is better than the book. great movie, denzel rocks it.

number 11: Slumdog Millionaire- why else would this movie dominate the 2008 awards shows? cuz its just THAT good.

number 12: V for Vendetta- good movie, and natalie portman is hot too!

number 13: The Rock- sean connery and nicolas cage? yeah, thats the recipe for an awesome movie

number 14: Saw- the first one, the rest just sucked

number 15: Happy Gilmore- one of MANY amazing adam sandler movies

number 16: Friday Night Lights- amazing sports movie with an amazing ending (i dont want to spoil it)

number 17: Kill Bill Vol. 1- another tarantino movie cracks the top 20, i just loved the way this was filmed, i like tarantino's style

number 18: Reign Over Me- another adam sandler movie, but a serious one, and a good one.

number 19: Lord of War- another nicolas cage (my 2nd favorite actor) movie, this movie was freaking awesome, a little eye opening and sad, but a great movie

and finally number 20, the last one on my list... (im gonna cheat a little bit)

number 20: godfather 1,2, and 3- great movies, they deserve to be mentioned whenever top movies is the question

well there i went, i went more than 5, but lets hear what you all have to say

Some good ones there for sure. I'd have to add Braveheart, the first Terminator, Predator, Rocky, First Blood, Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Blazing Saddles, Pulp Fiction, Red Dawn, The Longest Yard, Forrest Gump, The Graduate, Dirty Harry, Full Metal Jacket and of course....Debbie does Dallas.

i actually hated the V for vendetta movie, they mangled alan moores work yet again. but to each his own.
i'm gonna stay away from the obvious choices like star wars, bullitt, ect and go with (in no particular order)
1. ten commandments
2. south park the movie
3. any movie of kevin smiths set in the view askewniverse
4. scream trilogy
5. repo the genetic opera (even tho they changed the ending)
6. the crow (first one only)
