Default Trunk Lid Mat's are not just for show cars

When I first saw a trunk lid mat on a car I thought "that's cool, but what's the point if you don't take your car to shows?" I do have a car I will be taking to shows and wanted the mat, but I have enjoyed it more than I thought in day to day living.

The mods for our cars are for us. I love to look at my mat when I open my trunk and it does grab attention when people are passing by. Heck, even my wife noticed!

I also love my new headrest wraps and middle console cover. These mods are inside the car, which I get to enjoy seeing them everyday.

The craftsmanship at Grand Design Mat is top notch and so is the service. I highly recommend these mods for your interior design.

I didnt go with a trunk mat on my 05 GT. I went with CDC Detail Corral. It covers the plain unfinish trunk lid with 3 storage pockets and looks really cool also. I just wish it had a running pony like your trunk mat. Nice Mod!!

Cost varies, but about $115-$140 for lid mats, the same for trunk floor mats and about $75 for head rest covers. At least as I remember. Not bad as mods go.

I've got the same trunk mat as you and I agree...the quality is very good. I've also got the headrest wraps, but with a GT on each one.
The one I have on the driverside shifts around and I'm always adjusting it though. It wasn't like this when new, it seems like they tend to loosen up a little over time. If I can't get it tight enough so it won't shift, I'm taking them off. The trunk mat is nice though.

I recently put one in my GT/CS and the quality is A+. GDM takes great pride in workmanship and quality. So great product for the money, IMO. They are also a Ford licensed supplier, and that in it self should tell you somehting.

I've thought about that several times, but I keep my detailing stuff in a small crate in the trunk... if I used the CDC Detail Corral and one of the bottles ever opened up or leaked - I'd be one unhappy camper...

I'll be getting one of these at some point!
