We have the pattern made for the 2010 Trunk lid mat and also the trunk floor mat. We had about 2 hours today at a local Ford dealership. From the 4 cars we checked all four have trunk lid mats but each car had a different clip to hold the mat in place. One good thing about this year model, no drilling of holes.

We are looking at doing same designs as we do now, and also a few others. Head rest wraps are no problem, same headrest.

As for the 2010 Mustang, Ford has taken care of other after market makers. Side view mirror covers, CAI system, Seq Turnsignals, Custom floor mats with pony or GT, lighted door seal plates, and last but not least trunk lid mat. I really do not think this car will slow down many aftermarket people. Knowing the Mustang owners the trunk lid mat is plan and no designs so for the ones that want to be different or show the car this item will come out. Talking to a Ford rep, the mat may not be placed in many of them to save money.

I would expect that the final combination is still somewhat flexible. They will be tweaking things for a while yet.

The Roush arrangement, with the fitted tool kit, is still my favorite, but I would HAVE to replace the bare paint with SOMETHING if it was without a mat!

I understand. The blank mat that is in the 2010 for now is ok, well I would have to say this.... LOL. Mustang people love to dress up the cars and maybe they will want a GDM mat and not just keep the factory one. Never know:bigthumbs up

Any design that we do for the other models can be done on the 2010 model. The mat is a different shape but just as nice. One thing is the 2010 has the holes for the mat and the stock mat can be installed in a few minutes.
