11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border.

This is all leading to giving them the vote.

We shouldn't have to worry about WWIII, the U.S. will collapse within itself at this rate.

Hello. They are recounting the same money more than once to yield an inflated sum. The actual total is only a fraction of that. 1 through 5 are included in 8. Most people would agree that number 6 is a good thing. Number 11 seems to be trying to imply that our drug problem is the fault of the dreaded Illegal Alien, which is blatantly false and a pretty ridiculous assertion to try to make. Number 9 is nothing more than a wild guess at a big number to make the bottom line seem to be far worse than it is. If they are monitoring these people closely enough to know how much a given individual is making, in order calculate the difference between Paco's paycheck and much Bubba would be making at the same job, why would they not go ahead and pick Paco up? This article is why they say that there are lies, damn lies, and statistics.

Well, this is familiar:

http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...op-bush-4.html

Note KScoyote and my numerous comments on this same topic (joined by dozens of our AFM friends).

Includes the identical article, and a discussion of its overlapping numbers - as well as the difficulty estimating the costs of black market and illegal activities which are NOT typically reported to government.

Points of discussion, and the concept is valid, whereas the statistical methodology is weak.

This thread makes for fine reading on this topic, for those interested.

You might have a valid point on the numbers not being exact, however spending $1.00 (thats 1 Dollar) is too much to spend on an illegal alien. The reason Paco isn't picked up is because the Liberals are making sure he/she isn't.

As for the ancor baby law, it isn't even a law. It is a distorted amendment from the Constitution that was refering to slaves, not illegal aliens. The Amendment should be removed now that it's use is no longer needed.

I believe, as soon as they are caught, deport immediately.

Hi again. 'The Liberals' aren't the one's that are hiring the illegal aliens. No jobs, no illegal aliens. It's that simple. I understand that different people have different priorities, but personally, I've never been able to get on board with that ' hundreds of billions to kill people over there, but not a nickel to feed people over here' program. But, that's just me. I also don't feel like we need to re-write the constitution to accommodate ineffective solutions to nonexistent problems. If you are born in this country, you are a citizen of this country. If they can strip anybody of their citizenship, then that means that they can strip anybody of their citizenship. If we give them a loophole to do it to Paco, then they can also do it to you. The constitution has been under a sufficiently brutal assault of late already without adding this to the heap.

Like the new Avatar!

Unfortunately, those hiring illegals (and including those abusing them with poor pay and treatment) INCLUDE both ends of the political spectrum.

One of the most infamous is Tyson Chicken, which is indeed owned and operated by a very wealthy Liberal who also is one of the largest contributors to the Clinton Campaigns for several decades. Wealthy Conservatives have also been proven to participate in this.

There is no glory for either Party or political philosophy in this issue.

Best is to vigorously enforce our existing laws, but this is unlikely to occur given that BOTH sides of the aisle work to protect their own monied backers that flout these laws.

Its so deeply seated that I doubt the ability of the current DOJ to make a major case stick, given that they CANNOT demonstrate a track record of enforcing the law equally and fairly.

Hi again. Yup. That was kind of my whole point. To just blindly jump in and blame it on 'The Liberal' in a knee-jerk reaction is not nearly as carefully thought out as it should have been.
I was poking around on the internet a few days ago, not really looking for anything in particular, and stumbled across something in The Netherlands and poked around some more and found out that ' Veronica' is huge over there. It started out as a pirate radio station broadcasting from a ship in international waters off the coast in 1960. They got the Veronica thing from VRON (vrije radio omroep nederland) which meant free radio broadcasting station netherland. Now it's like three radio stations, 3 tv channels, a magazine, all sorts of stuff. My avatar is their old logo from back in the 60s. I thought it was kind of cool, anyway.

The fact of the matter is, illegal aliens and their children shouldn't be here to drain the Medical Field and Economy. They should be deported immidiately. They have no rights and do not deserve Citizenship. If someone wants to do it the right way by learning our language and history, then get a social security number lagally and pay taxes, then great, welcome to my country.

Default Rebates for Illegals

Pelosi, Boehner say econ bill won't benefit illegal immigrants - The Crypt's Blog - Politico.com

Look like Congress finally got the message: They are changing the Package to avoid sending rebate checks to illegals.

ITIN's won't do.

Good.
