Weather Channel Founder Blasts Network; Claims It Is 'Telling Us What to Think' TWC founder and global warming skeptic advocates suing Al Gore to expose 'the fraud of global warming.'

The Weather Channel has lost its way, according to John Coleman, who founded the channel in 1982.
“The Weather Channel had great promise, and that’s all gone now because they’ve made every mistake in the book on what they’ve done and how they’ve done it and it’s very sad,” Coleman said. “It’s now for sale and there’s a new owner of The Weather Channel will be announced – several billion dollars having changed hands in the near future. Let’s hope the new owners can recapture the vision and stop reporting the traffic, telling us what to think and start giving us useful weather information.”
The Weather Channel has been an outlet for global warming alarmism. In December 2006, The Weather Channel’s Heidi Cullen argued on her blog that weathercasters who had doubts about human influence on global warming should be punished with decertification by the American Meteorological Society.
Coleman also told the audience his strategy for exposing what he called “the fraud of global warming.” He advocated suing those who sell carbon credits, which would force global warming alarmists to give a more honest account of the policies they propose.
“[i] have a feeling this is the opening,” Coleman said. “If the lawyers will take the case – sue the people who sell carbon credits. That includes Al Gore. That lawsuit would get so much publicity, so much media attention. And as the experts went to the witness stand and testified, I feel like that could become the vehicle to finally put some light on the fraud of global warming.”
Earlier at the conference Lord Christopher Monckton, a policy adviser to former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, told an audience that the science will eventually prevail and the “scare” of global warming will go away. He also said the courts were a good avenue to show the science.
I'll swear, you cannot make stuff up better than this!
This morning here in Florida where I live it is 40 degrees and wind from the north at 15 knots. Tonight it is expected to get down to 29. I'm sure the college spring breakers here are appreciating this "Global Warming"!
Maybe they will change their minds about Algore and his gang of crooks!

XM,
An armed man is called a citizen.A disarmed man is called a subject.
If you look him up, Zagoni here was a BIG wheel pushing global warming until this year...
Also, everyone should note that the big deal getting Polar Bears listed as endangered species (sort of problematical, since they are breeding like rabbits up there and there are about twice as many of them now vs 50 years ago) has NOTHING to do with environmentalism or even Global Swarming, but EVERYTHING to do with anti-capitalist politics.
If Bush can be conned into adding Polar Bears to the list, it will be the first species declared endangered by "Global Warming", and will be a huge asset for those blocking any oil and gas drilling in the frozen wastes of northern Alaska and Canada!
Don't be fooled, the secret agenda is the REAL agenda.
The fact that this will also destroy the culture of various native Inuit people who count on the bears for food, clothing and trade goods is another factor...
And like I said, the bears are more Numerous than they have ever been since we started counting them!
While the portion of the human race with higher-than-room-temperature IQ's is coming to regard Global Warming as a bad joke, the true believers in the media continue to pump out scarey scenarios, and I hereby offer "GW Scare Tactic #30: Deformed railroad tracks and weakened bridges.
Although everything is based upon mile-high tsunamis flooding entire continents, or ocean levels (currently DECREASING, of course, as I posted in the main GW thread) rising until entire cities (doubtless including several railroads and bridges) sit underwater and start to rust...
It Is All A Scam.
Period.
I wonder how long these bogus "Scarey Movie" cartoons will still hit the newsreels every day?

I watched this program, Life after people, a documentary on what earth will be like after humans up to 1000 years later. It was full of what will happen when the effects of "man made" globla warming was gone and how the earth would enter into anothe ice age....

Of course, its interesting that most of it focuses on how quickly big things like bridges and buildings will fall down.
They gloss over the actual time that elapses, in order to make it seem like we will vanish (go quietly) and then what we built will crumble overnight.
Ice-ages are part of the planet's NATURAL cycle, just like interglacial warmings, so these morons that want to scare everyone into placing their hopes and futures in the hands of such trustworthy groups as the UN (NOT!) should be ashamed.
Personally I found the whole thing interesting when they talked about the sort of maintenance needed to keep stuff working, but the rest of the anti-capitalistic, anti-Western culture tripe was boring.

Quite right. And I thought it was funny how they showed plants taking over and busting things apart... in time lapse footage... it looked like in a matter of a few years "nature" would break apart all we have built. LOL
Well heck! When they do the "earth's history" shows they show the continents breaking up and moving around too. I guess folks think they could waterski behind the continents as they moved around!
In in all seriousness, the way the did THIS show, they did kind of gloss over the great amount of time it would take for things to happen. If they didn't, it would be far less dramatic. But then again, drama is what AG and his ilk want, right?
