Patriotism and Corporate Globalism

In an age when big Corporations no longer think of themselves as somehow "part" of America, you start to see stuff like this:

Neutral??? when your part of America??? You either are a supporter of America or a traitor. What the heck??? That makes absolutely NO sense. I am up to my eyeballs in what has become this "political correctiveness fad" What's next ban public displays of patriotism at Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day??? Ok I'm off my soap box..... for now lol

This would not surprise me at all. Heck, even after 9/11 there were COMMUNITIES that banned the flying of the American Flag because it might make some who are not of this country "uneasy". I find it sickening that in the land of "freedom" we are so worried about "offending" anyone that we can not show our own NATIONAL PRIDE and if we do that is somehow a "bad" thing.

So typical of the Media today... more concerned about money and political correctness. All they ever show is the bad stories or insignificant stories such as "old lady finds long lost lover." what does that have to do with me? The media is so out of touch with the american people....next i agree. Fk political correctness be AMerican and stand up for what u believe not for the other guys feel good. when have we ever done that till Vietnam when it no longer became about winning the war but not kicking the other guys butt. IT FREAKIN WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, pfiandra. That's what I suspected, its not new news.

Still, what can it hurt to remind us all of this sort of thing around Independence Day?

ABC and the others doing this are STILL a bunch of treasonous cowards, imo, so it IS still current news, in a way.
