Phelps is a fire and brimstone preacher, so I guess his action speak louder then words also?
Wright is in the same category as Phelps. You speak as if one sermon was out of line, no now your head is buried in the sand, Wright believed every word of it and he would not keep his mouth shut about it and that is why Obama dropped him like a hot potato, I have no doubt Obama shared his mentors believes whole heartedly, but Obama is smart enough to know someone with his believes can’t publicized them and still get elected. His wife and Obama share Wright’s opinions.
You say it was taken out of context listen to the tape, it’s his own words in response to a question, his grandmother was a raciest, just like Obama is and his wife and his preacher/mentor are.
Clinton did no wrong when he was in office you followed him blindly glorifying whatever he did, but then she ran against Obama and they became evil. Evil because now you have a new savior who can do no wrong. Just like Gore could do no wrong or Kerry could do no wrong, till they cross paths with whoever is currently the pick of the day.
Your candidate is full of flaws but you can’t see them. You overlook information I know you see, you just don’t admit it exists; you point fingers, deny, and attack the information even when it is right in front of you.
I have posted quite often on the stuff Bubba did that I didn't agree with.
Telecommunications, NAFTA, etc., etc., etc.,
He was the best Republican President EVER! All of his signature deals were Republican initiatives. Balanced Budget, welfare reform, free trade, and deregulation.
That said, he was a heckuva lot better the Contract On America's full agenda.

Sigh, oh well, at least its back on the topic of politicians, if not THE politician in the spotlight.
I gather that Obama would NOT be a fan of Conservative ideology?
OK, good, I'll check that one off, no surprises there...

1) Mr. Obama has "3 Islamic names" - ooooh, scary, scary. Actually, just saw an elderly jewish man on tv the other day claiming that Barack is a Hebrew name. Nevermind. This is just stupid. Fearing the man because of his name. That's the best you got. Come ON! Listen up America, we're not at war with Islam, we're at war with the terrorist organization known as Al-Qaeda. And Barack Obama is a Christian, not a Muslim. Duh.
2) Mr. Obama was voted "The most liberal member of Congress." Maybe that frightens knee-jerk, right-wing reactionairies, but it sounds pretty good to a liberal like myself. You see for me the term "liberal" in NOT a perjorative.
3) The vidoe says "Fact: Obama has a vague voting record." Please explain how anyone's voting record could possibly be "vague". You're either for or against the issue up for vote or you abstain. Only declining to vote could be considered "vague". Just not sure what the narrator of this piece means by "vague". After all, you just got through labeling Obama "the most liberal". Nothing vague about that.
4) Obama "refused to wear the flag as a pin". Oh lord save me! You have got to be kidding me?!? The man didn't become a US Senator because he hates America and wants to destroy it. Just what are you insinuating here. I myself don't wear a flag pin. So! Who dares to call me un-American! A wise man once said "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel." Flag wavers = scoundrels.
5) Rev. Wright is way out there for sure. He intends to make provacative statements to make a point. He's not completely wrong either, but Mr. Obama has disowned him officially and on the record. Now if McCain would disavow his own fundamentalist kook clergyman supporters they'd be even.
6) Socialized Health care: I want it.
Gun control: yes please!
Welfare: after this current economic crisis we're all gonna need it. Thanks "dubya".
7) Racist grandmothers: My father explained to me that he was brought up to fear blacks. So much so that, when as a boy he visited the house of a friend who had a black maid, he wasn't sure if he should eat the food she prepared. My Dad's eyes were opened when he joined the Air Force. On leave he used to hitchhike home in his uniform, and more often than not, the person who gave him a ride was black. Growing up I never saw my Dad show any disrespect for any person regardless of their race or social or economic status. Bottom line: my grandparents - definitely racist. They just didn't know any better. My parents: more enlightened. That is a good thing. I must applaud Mr. Obamas honesty about his family background.
Overall this video is a very amateurish hatchet job. No attempt here at being un-biased.
1) Obama's father gave him 3 Islamic names. I agree, this is a moot point.
2) Most liberal as in as extreme as neo-conservatives. Both are dangerous. In other words: communist.
3) If you watched part of the video, 100 times he voted "present" rather than "yes" or "no." That's pretty vague to me.
4) Obama must feel that America doesn't deserve to have it's flag on his lapel. That doesn't sound very patriotic or American.
5) Wright must be a very hate-filled individual. But denouncing someone on record does not mean they're not lying. People lie on the record all the time.
6) Socialized health care: Canadians hate it!
Gun control: sure is helping D.C.'s skyrocketing crime rate, isn't it?
Welfare: Stop giving those lazy bastards money that they never worked for, while I work my butt off trying to pay for them!
7) Even though I agree about the standards of the time, Obama calling his grandmother a "typical white person" is a double standard. White people would be punished for saying "typical black person."

6) Do you know any Canadians? My Mother is from Montreal, meaning I have a quite a few Aunts, Uncles and Cousins that live there that I see quite often. Never heard any of them complaining about medical care in Canada. I've heard them complain about drug shortages because of artificially inflated prices in the US. Americans either go over the border or buy drugs form Canadian Internet sources.
There are 42 million people with out health care in this country. You only have it if your employer provides it or you buy it at the exorbidant prices they charge.

He's not a member of the communist party because communism is frowned upon by the American public. However, dressing up as a democrat with a few Marxist ideals is ok. Did you notice the picture of Che Guevara (sp?) in his office?
Did I say I liked McCain? You're dodging the issue. Again.
Wright's words (God damn America!) point to hate-filled.
It all depends on who you talk to and whose information you believe. But I believe that only people with serious medical conditions should be helped out. If you can afford treatment through your health insurance or out-of-pocket, then you don't get government help. But people with minor conditions clogging up the system for those who truly need help is my issue with socialized health care.
There's something going on in this politically correct nation of ours called "reverse racism." This means that black people can call white people whatever they want without punishment because it is "freedom of speech." Obama, despite not being legally African-American, feels he is entitled to use this "reverse racism."

It's just what I've heard. As for the health care costs, yes, they are out of control. Something does need to be done about it, but because I don't know how the system works, I cannot make any suggestions.

That wasn't his office.
He sure hasn't shown any "Reverse Racism" in his hiring practices, or in anything I've ever seen.
Please show an instance where Obama's called any White Person anything at all outside of his or her name.

As I have posted before I am friends with a French doctor who has practiced in ER in France, Italy and the US. His opinion and yours are VERY different.

Does calling his grandmother a typical white person count in your book? Guess not.
The American Nazi party says they fight to preserve a white America in Je$u$ name.
Wright says Je4u$ was a black man persecuted by white Romans.
They both sound like raciest pigs to me.
Race is an issue, not because people are afraid of voting to a black person, but because the person chosen to run has racist issues.
So , let me get this straight…..your Honda has 1.6 liters, whereas my bottle of Mountain Dew has 2?
Change…..it’s what is left after taxes.
- Shaken....Not Stirred 2003 Mach I Auto Torch Red - Sold
-1988 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, 331 Trick Flow Stroker with a Tremec 3550....oh yea and a 1.6 liter V-TECH motor to work the convertible top.
- 1966 Inline 6……..the pile of parts car!
I just watched the USC video - I don't see how it bashes America or shows arrogance.
Please explain.
Especially in light of the portest video which showed black people angry that he's not focused on their issues?
I don't see anything wrong with the second, either - Bush has said the same thing re: education, and the toxicity of low expectations.

Yeah, and it is always "them" that is doing the dividing, never "us"... no matter if neither side agrees with the other. That is a dangerous argument which has just as sharp of edges on both sides.
(This post was made AFTER the two posts which follow it.... we are having a time indexing problem again. I point this out so that it actually makes sense. )

I'm still a bit ticked and want to explain "My people"
One member of "My People" (Of whom are from 3 continents, and at least 6 different Nations, by blood) once said, "All honorable people belong to the same tribe."
He was Sitting Bull who was great grandfather to one of my first loves.
I reckon that says it all. Those who would divide the American People would do well to remember, "United We Stand, Divided We Fall," and ponder the last 8 years.
