The liberal media really has a problem.
Their double standards are not visible to them, but are shockingly apparent to others. Their lack of self-awareness is starting to trouble them, so they are trying to parse their language, but STILL cannot see what they are doing wrong.
Several confused pundits on CNN, lacing their stuttering coverage after the speech with faint praise, immediately stumbled into a new set of double standards, complimenting the speech and citing the name of the McCain staffer they thought authored the speech.

(LOL, CNN even included this glaring double standard in their after-action internet post, for cryin' out loud!)
A quick review of the memory banks when Biden delivered his acceptance speech revealed no such concerns. Or ANY male politician's speech under ANY circumstances during this entire, long, election.
So there you have it, a towering double standard deposited by the liberal media upon their own private members, after which they are doubtless stumbling around in pain, confused as to the source of their self-inflicted wound.
LOL, I love it. I hope they never figure it out.
And talk about a double standard, CNN had their little bar running "facts" about the speakers throughout the night. Mostly negative facts, repeating much of the hits we've been seeing in the Kos.com blogs, Giuliani's recent illness, or simply the sad little tidbits about McCain's cancer, his 2 marriages, or Todd Palin's 22 year old traffic citation for DUI...
Of course, they did the same thing for the DNC. Negative little digs running constantly at the bottom of the screen while the speakers delivered their speechs...
Er, no, that did NOT happen.
The bar was only there intermittantly, and then ONLY with the most glowing praise of Obama and his fellows. All positive points, great, upbeat verbiage from the "up from humble beginnings" theme that ran throughout the Convention.
Huh. No double standard THERE, of course.
ROTFL.
