I'm not sure I feel that badly for the kids, as all they likely realize is that they get to perform for an audience, and don't comprehend what it is that they salute with their song. At least, I hope they don't.
The parents hold the final responsibility for the education of their children, of course, and one would hope that there is an ability to be even-handed with criticism and praise. But I'm not holding my breath.

It may be a bit over the top, but every time I see things like this (and groups like them) I always have this vision in my head..... after their little "change the world with love" gathering they step outside to get into their cars and speeding buss runs them all over.
Sorry, but if folks really want to "sing for change" they need to do it in a subway with a bucket to collect the change they would get.
I guess I would never make it as a hippy.....
