Default Morning temp sets new record in Michigan

Speaking of Global Warming....

It was colder this morning in Port Huron than it has been in more than seven decades.

The Port Huron waste water treatment plant recorded a temperature of 32 degrees at 8 a.m., one degree colder than the record low set Oct. 1, 1935, according to information from the National Weather Service in Oakland County’s White Lake Township.

Amos Dodson, a weather service meteorologist, said no records were broken elsewhere, including at Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus and in Flint.

It currently is 39 degrees at the St. Clair County International Airport.

Today’s temperature is expected to reach 59 degrees. The average high for Oct. 1 is 67 degrees in Port Huron.

Been below freezing here in Central Wis for the last two mornings, not ready yet. Sept was the driest on record with less than 1/4" of rain. Last Dec set all time record for most snow, 28+". They warning about more abrubt weather swings.

Man forget all that bunk. NC is really mild as far as winter goes, plus we hardly get any snow once you come out of the mountains.

PC, this is all just more proof that Global Warming is real - really, that's what the Warmers are claiming.

Go figure. When it was hotter and dryer than average, THAT was because of Global Warming. Now that its colder and wetter than average, THAT is because of Global Warming.

Proof positive, in fact, if you can believe the morons talking about this with the Goreacle and the Obama administration.

Obama was delivering a speech pledging an all-out committment to Global Warming from the United States WHILE his own weather service was predicting that we are just winding down a "transitional" 10 year cycle of cooler temperatures, and entering a new 10 year cycle of COLDER temperatures!

It is nothing short of surreal. Anyone who wants to read years worth of data on this, hit the sticky Global Warming thread at the top of the Hot Zone page.

Before I retired, I worked in an Oil and gas industry with a lot of water products included. From industry info (never hit the media), the whole West is in for some big water shortages in the next 50 years, just at the time so many are moving there.

Remember how it snowed in Baghdad for the first time in recorded history a couple years back? Global Warming. Riiiiight. Snow on Christmas in Western Washington for the first time in anyone's memory? Much less two feet of it. Global Warming. Sure.
