Watching Fox news here this morning - Greg Kelly (anchor) was stunned at what Rosanna Scotto was reporting on this! Stumbled his words and everything - he was a former Marine Pilot... Unbelievable!!
In his 1895 will, Alfred Nobel stipulated that the peace prize should go "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations and the abolition or reduction of standing armies and the formation and spreading of peace congresses."
Considering that Obama has done nothing of the sort, even with the White House and Congress fully in control by his own party, this ought to tell you everything you need to know about politics.
Do nothing, say what everyone wants to hear and reap the rewards. After all, it's the thought that counts, isn't it?
My bad folks, it wasn't Obama that won the prize. Just Obama's ears and teleprompter!

This farce of an award is blowing up in the President's face. By tomorrow, the White House will be wishing the worst thing Obama did during his tenure was expose his own racism by declaring "police acted stupidly" while arresting his personal friend.
I'm probably one of the more Obama-supportive members on this forum and even I was like "WTF?" Apparently, the prize can be awarded to a person who is viewed to be working for peace, even if he or she has not accomplished anything, in order to encourage that person to see the efforts through.
Still, WTF?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the decision was made months ago. In fact, I believe Obidiot was only in office for less than 2 months when the Nobel Prize was voted on. It was only just announced.
Tell me, what has he accomplished in his first 2 months in office? Hell, what has he accomplished since he has been in office that would justify a Nobel Peace Prize? Oh wait, Al Gore and Carter both received one so it must be right.
