OK, I'll start this broad thread about the upcoming 2010 elections off with this snapshot of 7 top Democrats in Washington who are fighting uphill battles for re-election in 2010.

H. Reid (Sen. Nevada)

C. Dodd (Sen. Connecticutt)

J. Murtha (Rep. Pennsylvania)

I. Skelton (Rep. Missouri)

D. Obey (Rep. Wisconsin)

B. Lincoln (Sen. Arkansas)

NONE of these are my personal representatives in DC, so my comments can only be broad and general, but yes, I would pick them as both vulnerable and deserving of the problem.

I gather from the article that not only are they seeing strong competition from within their own parties, but from the Republicans.

I, as a citizen of California, relish in the fact that good old Barbara (Boxer) is having a hard time.
I won't be voting for her in the coming election.

Harry Reid is as much as toast in his campaign unless hell freezes over. At least that's the feeling I get everytime I read about how that race is shaping up.
