no he says that he had been a lifetime member or the NRA. Where is your proof that he joined only to get the interview?. and just because the clock moves half an hour just means he skips alot of bull small talk because you cant just jump right in to attacking the NRA in the first five minutes or else youll be leaving too quickly.
And just so you know having a lifetime membership does not mean you have a member more than a day. You can join for one year five years or get a lifetime membership (which I think cost 1,000)
And why would he be “attacking the NRA” when he is a lifetime member?
There has been several posts on how Moore cuts and pastes his interviews to make his arguments seem more valid this is just one more example.

I couldn’t remember where I originally heard of Max News until just a little while ago….it was you….so I dug this up…………which you posted back in March of 03!
So I posted this as my reply………….
Once again a news source is only creditable when it serves your purpose!
I picked it BECAUSE you would accept it. You'll notice they quoted
THE WASHINGTON POST!!

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line." - President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." - President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998
Dam it! if I have told Clinton 1 time, I’ve told him 100 times, stop going into the future and reading Bush’s pile of garbage!
Aren't you pulling a "Mooreish" Number here by taking Clinton's quote completely out of context?
At least Moore's interview took place over 30 minutes . . . If he were to include the entire interview, the movie would take 3 hours or longer. He's not 60 minutes, you know (And even they edit).

Diane Fienstein is trying to get Kerry to reinstate the 94 "ASSAULT WEAPON BAN" .
I say hell no !!!!
After seeing a interveiw with Kerry , my opinion of him is not good .
At least Clinton was a good B.S.er , Kerry is not .
When Bush gave us tax cuts , I got a real check .
Great! Let's make it easier for terrorists to buy assault weapons while we're at war. Super!
You got a check, then you had to pay it all back to the state, since they had to raise their taxes to compensate.

* Berlin's left-wing Die Tageszeitung newspaper reported on December19, 2002 a list of US corporations that supplied Iraq with nuclear, chemical, biological, and missile technology. The list comes from the original Iraqi 11,000-pages report to the Security Council lists of 150 foreign companies, including some from America, Britain, Germany and France that supported Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction programme. The original dossier was handed to the five permanent Security Council members two weeks ago. An edited version was passed on to the remaining 10 members of the Security Council later. On 18 December 2002 British officials confirmed that the list of companies appeared to be accurate. 24 US companies are reported to have supplied Iraq with equipment and know-how for its weapons programmes from 1975 onwards and in some cases support for Baghdad's conventional arms programme had continued until last year.
* During most of the 1980s, USA knowingly permitted the Iraq Atomic Energy Commission to import bacterial cultures that might be used to build biological weapons. Saddam was visited not only by Rumsfeld but also by congressional delegations led by Senators Bob Dole of Kansas and Alan Simpson of Wyoming, who were eager to promote American farm and business interests.
* According to confidential Commerce Department export-control documents obtained by NEWSWEEK, the shopping list included a computerized database for Saddam's Interior Ministry (presumably to help keep track of political opponents); helicopters to transport Iraqi officials; television cameras for "video surveillance application chemical-analysis equipment for the Iraq Atomic Energy Commission (IAEC), and most unsettling, numerous shipments "bacteria/fungi/ protozoa" to the IAEC. According to former officials, the bacterial cultures could be used to make biological weapons, including anthrax. The State Department also approved the shipment of 1.5 million atropine injectors, for use against the effects of chemical weapons, but the Pentagon blocked the sale. The helicopters, some American officials later surmised, were used to spray poison gas on the Kurds.
The United States almost certainly knew from its own satellite imagery that Saddam was using chemical weapons against Iranian troops. When Saddam bombed Kurdish rebels and civilians with a lethal cocktail of mustard gas, sarin, tabun and VX in 1988 Reagan administration first blamed Iran, before acknowledging, under pressure from congressional Democrats, that the culprits were Saddam's own forces. (Newsweek, September 23, 2002).

Yeah, that's old news. Reagan and Bush I gave him the weapons, and then double crossed him when he refused to privatize his oil fields. When Dole was there, I was in Kansas, and couldn't believe Dole would shake hands with the man after the use of chemical weapons. Then I did some research, and found the weapons were from us, for use against Iran. That was the beginning of my dissatisfaction with Reagan, Bush I, Dole and the rest of the Republican Party.

How did you know i would accept it if I had never heard of it!
But at least Kerry is willing to admit he was wrong. Changing positions is the mark of intelligence. Not learning from your mistakes is a mark of stupidity.

Because, if I remember correctly, you were denouncing the so-called "liberal" media. So I found a reference from the whackos at NewsMax.

Bottom line is your source is rumours from the NRA itself. He apparently IS a member, and there is no documented proof he wasn't a member prior.
I recall Bush I denounced the NRA as well.

Strange how you never mentioned it then, but then now that you had several months to come up with the excuse it dose sound better than admitting I was right!
