Do we need a “No Political Threads” rule?

I believe they need to be banned. They are difficult to moderate and they always turn into a pissing contest. Some people like me are very stubborn and won't budge on an issue. I'm open minded, but stubborn in my ways. If that makes sense.

Although, it does tend to encourage people to do their own investigation and come to their own conclusions. I agree with Matt, the rules against flaming and personal attacks should be enforced. The political threads would be much more bearable if people wouldn't get so emotional and just do their homework.

I'm studying the posting rules right now and I can see that there are things I need to pay more attention to already. I think it would do anybody good to refresh themselve and re-read the rules....

THIS IS A MUSTANG FORUM. Please keep the threads to Mustang/Ford/Car related issues. Personal threads like, "Check it out I got married/had a kid." are fine, but please keep this site politics free. That's why I like it.

What if there was a section for Threads where Mustang fans could go to discuss politics and you never had to go to that section AND Politics would be prohibited from the other sections?
