Nope. They didn't cover his partner's receipt of the MOH earlier this month, either. Not even Fox (if I'm wrong, I'll be happy to print a retraction).

Just nothing newsworthy about a hero receiving a medal. Particularly during a war.

A general question to all readers:

When was the last time you saw an award ceremony for a military man receiving a medal for valor?

This situation aside, let's face it: the bad guys have guns so, as a good guy, I'd prefer to have one too. Only law-abiders are affected by "gun laws."

It finally hit mainstream media on Sunday, it was on ABC news and in our local paper. Military people seldom get any credit that they deserve. About the only time they are brought up is during the state of the union speeches.
