Picking up my 2005 Convertible v6 5 speed tomorrow!

So today is 1/18/08 and tomorrow I am driving down to New Jersey from Connecticut to pick up my Black 2005 convertible v6 5 speed. I finally sold my 66 Buick GranSport and am using the money to buy a fun fast car I can enjoy every day. Not just in the summer. Picked the 2005 because of the power of the V6 as I did not fancy pushing a V8 through the weather. Picked the 5 speed because it's funner and because it will make weather driving easier. My son inherited my 1995 V6 5 speed coupe last year and it is awesome with Flowmaster duals, GT spoiler, black stripe kit and full leather interior custom ordered when I bought it new in 95. So you see I am not new to Mustangs. Looking forward to the Buick vs Mustang drags in November in ATCO and, for a change, I will be on the Blue Oval Side. Looking forward to meeting a whole bunch of new FORD buddies as the BUICK guys were great and I still have a lot of friends in that camp. I picked up my new baby yesterday and was thrilled. I was a little nervous as I bought it over the internet (Autotrader.com) from a dealer in New Jersey sight unseen, except for the pictures on line of course. Well, the car is BEAUTIFUL. Black with black top, gray leather and loaded! Shaker Sound System, ABS, 5-Speed Manual, Traction Control, Mycolor dash, power seats, the works. I was pleased to learn that the rear window is glass and is heated. The only disappointment was that the rear seat does not fold down in the drop tops. Oh well, I can live with it!
Yes it was too bad the Buick had to go after all those years. It is a beautiful car too! But I needed to simplify my life and wasn't one of those people who can tie up the money and space. I have a one car garage in my condo and the money from the GS more than paid for the Mustang. Now I just need to sell my Valiant. It's on Ebay. Check it out if you are one of those people who can have extra cars. This one is a sweetheart too!

Sell this and my life really gets simple. Thanks again for all the welcomes. The drive home from New Jersey was a ton of fun. Much more power than my son's 95 3.8V6. He is jealous already. This car is great!
