Post Hello to forum members
Hello all,

I just joined a few minutes ago. I have a 2000 GT. It is cmopletely stock. I am the origonal owner. The hood paint is starting to peal and crack. i was hoping to do some research to determine why this is and then repair myself. I am also planning on doing some minor upgrades to the exhaust, the brakes, rims and tires. This my first stab at gathering some information before deciding what to get.

I'm glad to have found this sight and am looking forward to learning more about my mustang.

welcome to AFM, Bob. I see you live just up the highway from me. the reason for your hood paint peeling and cracking could be because you live in the Sunshine State. all that sun can wreak havoc on your paint, unless it is properly protected.
