 First Mustang 1994 GT Convertible 5.0 V8
Hello to anyone that reads this!
I just got my first Mustang yesterday and I'm sure I'll be using this site to get small repair tips. This car is a blast and I can't wait for some nice weather to get the top down. It's metallic blue with white leather seats (bad shape), a new white top, cobra rims, lowering springs (not sure how low it is), pioneer deck connected to the mach audio speakers. It's only got about 95,000 miles on it and has been from what I know, a summer driver for most owners, the ones i bought from put only 4,000 miles on it in the 4-5 years they've owned it.
It needs a little TLC, it could use a paint job eventually, interior needs to be cleaned well, seats need to be replaced/re-upholstered, power locks fixed, and possibly the ignition lock replaced. Other than that, it's a great running car, looks amazing still for it's age. I'll try to get pics up as soon as I can.
If anyone else has a convertible, I'd love to know what you've done with yours. I'm not sure if the convertibles and coupes are mostly the same, but I was trying to check out the remote entry system and was using a thread on here to try to locate if I have one or not and it didn't seem to help in my car, but maybe I missed something. I was looking in the trunk on the left but all I saw was the wire to pop the trunk. |
