Default Greetings Mustangers.2007 Mustang
Just bought the wife an '07 red convertible premium pkg with leather seats and that crazy Shaker sound system. I'm a big BMW guy and do a lot of my own maintenance and repairs. This car looks pretty straightforward to work on. It's a Ford CPO and they offered us an extended warranty.

My question is, if I can do most of the stuff that will need repairing, brakes, alt, struts, water pump etc, do I really need an extended warranty? She will probably keep the car up to 70-80K miles and it has 30K on it.

Welcome aboard... Never been a fan of extended warranties. Set that money aside for repairs instead.
