Default New Member! 1994 Mustang Convertible (Looking To BEAST!)

Hey Im a new member as of a few minutes ago. I own a 1994 Mustang Convertible. Its Blue and sexy. My family is a ford family. Dad owns a 2007 Mustang GT and mom owns a 2007 Ford Expedition EL Limited Edition. My Mustang has a 3.8L v6 and looking to upgrade. I already purchased an older 1988 5.0L v8 302 engine to put in. Also purchased parts to convert it. From what my father has told me i need some other parts and have the engine serviced before i can get to work. Looking for help guides and etc to help me convert the 3.8L v6 into a mean 5.0L v8. Thank you!

Welcome to the site. You stated that you already have the V-8 for the engine swap but if I were you I still would be looking for a 94-95 5.0 donor car that was wreck. Get one that was T-bone on the side or hit in the rear. This is the low cost way to go. With the donor car you would get every thing that you need to convert a V-6 stang into a V-8 stang. Good luck.

Do a search on the wed, salvage autos.

Good Idea, Bad part bout that is besides having the v8 already in hand... We purchased parts and etc to convert. From my understanding we are missing engine mounts and a handful of other parts. I like your idea though. Honestly wonderful idea. Im sure i could find a wrecked 94-96 stang around here easy! Over here you can't go 2 minutes without seeing a mustang some where! Going to look into some salvage yards around here, im sure i can find something. Thanks!
