Question Over reving 2002 mustang
I accidently over reved my 2002 mustang up to 7000 rpm when it slipped into 2nd instead of 4th. It seems to be running fine since then but I havnt reely jumped on it because I wanted to find out if I should get it looked at first. What do you think I should do. What could go wrong with the car

Go: Steeda Tri-Ax Short Shifter, 3.73's and FRPP traction lock, BBK CAI, Dual Flowmaster Super 44's with H-pipe and chrome 3" angle cut tips

Aparrently nothing went wrong, when you over-revved your car. If you say it's running fine since then, I wouldn't worry about it. But I wouldn't let it happen again, or you could end-up with a connecting rod through your block or your base pan, Mike. SCT Tuner. P.S. Welcome to the family.

Invest in a MSD 6 AL box. This will not allow that to happen again. Its just a little insurance for your engine.
