Default Hello everyone,1992 Mustang LX
I have a 1992 Mustang LX convertible. I am new to this forum. My tachometer goes to 0 when the engine is off, but when I crank it it goes to 4200 rpm or so. At high rpm it moves more, but never goes below 4200 when cranked. Any ideas?

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am running a 5.0. Anyone have any hints to help me navigate through this site? Anything I need to look at first?

1992 Mustang LX Convertable...2.5" exhaust with x pipe and series 40 flow masters....cobra r 17 x 9's. Mild tuning......for now.
