 I'm new and have a problem ,1999 Mustang
I have a 1999 green convertible...it's my second car n i don't use it alot, just beautiful sunny days that were rare this summer!...had it for a lil over 2 yrs....passed inspection twice but this year i failed emissions .... he said i was flagged n had to go see this state guy...this guy said i need a new computer or it needs to be reflashed? because the computer is not sending signals and he cannot get any reading.....i don't understand....it's running fine....do i need to drive a certain number of miles after a new battery for it to work? can blown fuses stop signals? when i turn off the engine i do hear some strange sound for a minute and i see "theft" flashing in red on my dashboard ......someone told it wouldn't run if i needed a new computer... i have 30 days left to fix the problem, any suggestions?
