Hi everyone
I've been lurking here for 2 months, as there is a wealth of great information to be found on these forums. I thought it might as well introduce myself, also since I do have a question!
First thing first, My mustang is a 2007 GT/CS. I don't know anyone personally who owns or owned a mustang before, and this is my first mustang as well. So in the truest sense of the word, I'm a mustang newbie. (My previous car was a 2002 Toyota Camry).
About the car, I don't have any pictures (I've owned it for a month and no pictures yet, for shame, I know. I've been too busy with other things >_< ). I bought it from an Audi dealership who had it from a trade-in. It had 40,774 miles on it. They were asking $20,000, and I got it from them for $17,500 (they wouldn't budge on the price after that, heh). I'm not entirely sure if that was a great price or not, I paid it in full (no loans or financing) with my personal "new car savings" I'd been hoarding away
. I hadn't traded in my Camry as that was supposed to become my husband's car...
The only information the dealer had about the car, besides the stock specifications and equipment is that it has "after market exhaust system". I'm not sure what he means by that, and neither does he
. Other than that, I don't believe it had any modifications done. Since my purchase though, I've added sequential tail lights (I couldn't resist).
I'm really very happy with the car, when I get to drive it. My husband had been whining about my insistence and purchase of the car, but now, he's the one constantly all over it and I barely get to drive it, even though it's my car! (it really gets on my nerves, let me tell you =/ Hopefully he'll get this SUV he's been after in a few months and leave my baby alone).
Well, I'm sure that's become a long intro, though I didn't mean it to be one. I hope to be around more often. I doubt you will be seeing me post TOO much, because I don't have much mustang experience, and as for questions, I try to do research before I ask something that might have been just asked a page or two before!
